A: The medallion and chain are stainless steel.

A: I, Myself don't think it has to be a mens. It is more of a unisex. I bought them for my sons. Maybe because the chain is a little thicker than a woman's.

Good quality medallion. I wear it daily, even in the shower and it still looks good after several weeks. I did change the chain to something more of my liking, however I do believe the chain is of good quality. This is a perfect gift for someone without breaking the bank.
