This is a good book to show you how to lay out and build tube audio equipment. Please note it does have some mistakes

This book presents lots of errors, from simple ones like references to wrong figures to big ones like putting RIAA networks and tone control networks inside global feedback loops.

Exellent book, took me back to the 50"s..built the sterio single ended KT88 amplifier using the circuits provided, and itworksfine, I can now play all my old LP"s, and hear them as they used to sound..

Ich kann dieses Buch jedem Einsteiger in die Welt der Röhrenverstärker und des Selbstbauens empfehlen. Für mich ist es sehr hilfreich, vor allem der Einstieg in die Theorie der Röhre ist ausreichend tiefgründig, ohne zu sehr ins Detail abzudriften. Grundkenntnisse der Elektrotechnik und Mathematik sind natürlich erforderlich. Im Teil mit den Schaltungen sollte man viel quer lesen, hier fehlt der "rote Faden" zuweilen.

Um livro que nos recorda os velhos amplificadores e que felizmente ainda estão para durar, com várias imagens e diagramas eléctricos explicativos sobre os mesmos. Aconselho a todos os que gostam do assunto.Muito bom.
