And I mean REALLY hard. So hard they chipped my molars.I don't know if that is an indictment of my tooth health or the product, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and rate it 3 stars, because they really are super hard.

I wasn't completely sure what to expect (so why did I buy 4lbs?). I'm still looking for a thinner shell on my peanuts, like what you find in the souvenir shops in Kinkaku-ji, Kyoto, Japan. I guess that's the difference between candy makers (like in Kyoto) and snack makers. I can't fault these, though. These are a thicker rice cracker shell. The peanuts were crispy and crunchy. The chili is hot enough, and rinses off the tongue easily. My package included just the peanuts and arrived via USPS with a pad pack inside a short, wide box. You might want to go slow cutting into the package as the peanuts are in a resealable pouch with a silica packet. I plan to part most of these out to friends and familly.
