Nice set of pin gages, reasonably priced. Arrived in good condition.

I used this to determine the size of a hole for a camshaft dowel pin, and then pressed the next size bigger pin into the camshaft instead of buying a custom dowel pin from a machine shop. The pins seem plenty hard and accurate as well. Good value.

Bought for my home shop. Plenty accurate for my needs. Checked with calibrated Micrometers and they are dead on.

Pin tolerance measure mostly -.00020, some -.00030. Chamfer varies between pins from strait edge to round. Works for personal set.

i load my own ammunition for a variety of revolvers, each with potentially different chamber mouth diameters, forcing cone diameters and barrel groove diameters. trying to measure the internal diameter of cylindrical holes to the thousandth (0.001) to determine the correct bullet size for a particular revolver is problematic with a 0.001 dial caliper. these minus size pin gauges are perfect for this purpose. they also will easily identify if the chamber mouths are the same diameter as the others in a particular cylinder, and if undersize, what size reamer is necessary. i've already learned more about my firearms. if you reload or do light gunsmithing, you will find these worth the price. randomly measuring five gauges with a micrometer reveals them to conform to the specification of zz minus.

Nice but needs to be magnetized so they stay in.

The set was well packed. Pin accuracy is right on, based on the dozen I spot checked. Some minor variations in chamfering on some of the pin ends (no big deal).

Good quality, nice storage case!

I checked 60 of the 190 pins at multiple locations with a tenths-reading micrometer. They measured nominal -.0001"/-.0003", which, while not the stated accuracy, is perfectly fine, great even considering the price. The surface finish is okay, the plastic case is nice, the labels on each pin are legible, and, more importantly for me, the radii on the ends of each pin are smooth and evenly ground if not entirely consistent in size from one pin to another.
