I purchased these for my 2015 Jeep Renegade. Out of the box one of the bulbs had a QC issue where the keyed insert was pinned through the wrong set of holes and wouldn't plug into the factory connector. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out why the plug kept pushing out the pins on the vehicle's factory connector and wouldn't fully lock together. Once I compared the one giving me issues with the one that connected without issue, I finally figured out the problem. Second, when installed, the LED's were facing the 12 and 6 o'clock positions instead of 3 and 9 per the instructions. This caused beam issues. Again, after examining the bulb, I realized that if I removed two very small screws from either side of the bulb that attached the locking ring and turned it 90 degrees before reinstalling the screws, it fixed the issue of the LED's facing the wrong direction. Unfortunately, I turned the bulb 90 degrees the wrong way as the high and low beams were reversed. So, again, I removed the screws, turned the ring 180 degrees from where it was after the first adjustment, and this fixed the high and low beam issue. Unfortunately, the instructions did not mention any of this and none of the You-Tube videos I could find mentioned anything about reorienting the lock ring. As such, all of the installation issues resulted in my removing 2 stars for ease of installation and one star for the overall rating. One final note, I strongly suggest that if you have to reorient the lock ring to fit your vehicle correctly, do it over a table with a white bath towel on top. The reason for this is because if you drop the tiny screws while making the adjustments, they will be much easier to find and won't go bouncing someplace preventing you from finding them again.

The only bad i can say is at idle there is a little flicker. I clocked the chip to match the halogen bulb and installed them. Good tight fit, plug and play. Will buy again if they last

The "clocking ring" is a terrible idea. This leaves a gap between the actual bulb body and the lens lock for water to enter. Halogen bulbs are not "clockable", so why would these need to be? There is an o-ring there, but it just sits there, and installing the light dislodges it because it is too small.Edit: I went ahead and replaced the o-ring with the correct size, 11/16 x 7/8. Now no water can enter at all.

Ordered these for our Caliber. (Be sure to email about the free diode wires) when I initially installed them and turned off the lights I would get a light show complete with strobbing effets. I emailed customer service and they sent me the wiring kit needed to make it work. I have had no issues since. These are so much better than the regular lights. We can actually see at night.

Installed the H13/9008 or L1 model on a ‘12 mustang recently. Followed the instructions included, however, due to how the grooves are aligned on the light housing, the flat sides of the bulb would not correctly align to the 3 and 9’oclock position correctly. The bulbs were more like the 4-5 and 10-11 o’clock position and each bulb was offset differently from each other. So I left them as such and drove them like this for a few days, with no issues. Today I was just tinkering around with the bulbs and noticed there is a set screw that allows you to adjust the position of the bulb. I was also able to install these bulbs with the flat side at the 6 and 12 o’clock. Since the reflective part goes 360 degrees completely around the housing, I am going to leave the bulbs like this for now. Hopefully no issues arise.

Upgraded my halogens to these. We'll see on the longevity part, but so far I'm very pleased with them. Fitment was spot on in my 2005 S40. Did need the adapters though, but no big deal. Perfect beam pattern out of the box.

A very good improvement over the regular headlights.
