HydraMed Night Sensitive 5g Tube

Excellent lanolin free ointment. I was so pleased to find this as I am allergic to lanolin. The optician didn't have this version in and all the other ointments in the store were big on claims that they contained no preservatives but had lanolin in. I have had severe dry eyes and although I had been using drops it developed into a bad problem overnight. This product is so soothing and is helping my eyes feel a more comfortable. I use other drops in the day.

I was told to purchase this ointment by moorfields eye hospital, because of my dry eyes, it is serving its purpose , my eyes feel more lubricated.

Very good for dry eyes. You will notice the difference in a few days.

Quick delivery in minimal packaging. The only eye ointment I've been able to find which does not contain lanolin - so good if you're allergic or want to avoid animal products. Easy to apply by squeezing onto a clean finger and gently running this along the inner lid margin/base of the lashes. Smooth and comfortable, with minimal blurriness on application. Tube contains enough for several months' applications and holds together well as made of metal.

We buy this for our 3yo after eyelid surgery (ptosis frontalis flap) to use on the scar and in the eye at night. Touch wood there's been no reaction (op in June - now sept) seems to keep her eyes moist over night. The only issue and it is so Blumin annoying!!!! Is that it starts squirting out as soon as you take the lid off and just keeps on pouring out, like there is too little space (too much pressure) but it works amazing. Annoying that we have to buy it even though it can be got on prescription but our useless drs "can't find it" yet surgery up the road can .... You make sense of it 🤦🏽‍♀️

I ordered this product when my usual brand (Hycosan Night) was out of stock everywhere. I am pleased to report it works just as well.My eyes without treatment are so dry they click when blinking. Whilst drops help throughout the day, nothing apart from these ointments help for overnight relief of dry eyes. Highly recommended.

This is the only overnight gel that doesn't cause my eyes discomfort or pain, but the tube it comes in is bad quality and always rips open, which causes the product to lose it's sterility and the product isn't useable anymore.
