The best part is that it turns your 1'x1' light almost in to a 2'x2'. Remember, the larger the light source, the softer the light! Most soft boxes available for 1'x1' lights do not actually make your light source much larger. Secondly, it comes with a grid that will make it more directional, which most manufacturers charge extra for.It deploys very quickly. Just unfold it. Open one of the velcro seams to fit it around your light, and use the straps to hold it on. Once you've used it a couple of times, you'll know how to get it on quickly.It will fit pretty much any 1'x1' light. I use it regularly on my Litepanels Astra 6X. I've also used it on the F&V K4000.Its very lightweight. To pack it away you just take out the diffusion which is held in by velcro, and fold up the box. You don't need to take the rods or disassemble it any further.It may not feel very rugged, but mine gets used quite a lot, and is still pretty much like new.The price is one of its very best features.
