I like the menthol with the Arnica, seems to improve healing time and also aided in joint pain relief.

This product is perfect. It works very well when you get bumped or bruised; the job it does is impressive.

I ordered the 2 oz jar. You only need the tiniest amout for a 2 inch area. It is quite oily and doesn’t penetrate your skin completely; but, on the plus side it is effective for making bruises disappear more quickly and with less pain especially in older people. I would recommend!

I use this on the joints of my 14 year old arthritic dog—along with DSMO. He must like it because he kisses my face after I apply it. The jar is really small, however.

I was told some years ago by a old friend and regular tennis player -- that arnica -- a fairly old remedy, I think -- was good for bruises as well as other minor aches and pains. I've only just begun to use it in the last couple of weeks on a good sized knot on my eyebrow/forehead that happened when it ran into the floor. And I think it IS bringing decided relief to that injury. It IS greasy but it's not smelly and is easy and comfortable to apply. I probably don't know enough about it yet to give it the 5 star rating but I definitely don't have any reason to deduct any stars. It's not expensive and I feel comfortable recommending it based on my limited experience. It couldn't hurt and it may help! And, IMO, increasing use of TOPICAL treatments, rather than swallowing more pain pills makes good sense. I couldn't be without acetaminophen, but I'm liking Arnica for the bump on my head.
