qt Modern Masters MCS904 Clear MasterClear Supreme Protective Clear Coat, Gloss

My MasterClear project ended up a mess! I applied a coat of Behr stain and allowed 10 days for drying (75/dry, Southern California). I then applied a coat of MasterClear "clear protective acrylic." Within a few days, the product YELLOWED. The original color was a light tan ... now slowly becoming a mustard yellow ... in patches. I plan to sand the whole thing out and start over with a product that doesn't promise what is does NOT deliver. (I specifically bought the product because it claimed "no color changes.")

I like this product very much.I use it between layers to create depth and protect coat, as well as for final finish coat to protect.Working very well in direct sun for a year now, exposed to weather. I am very happy with resultsso far!

For the price of this gloss paint I expected something special but what was in the can was a huge disappointment.. Just semi gloss varnish nothing more or less..

This stuff is one of the best finishes on the market. It dries hard as nails and is crystal clear. We apply it with a spray gun and often sand and polish it for crystal clear results. Shipping takes a while because it can't go by air, but that's just the way it is.

Great sealer that won't yellow your light paints. Love this brand of paints, albeit a bit pricey.
