The shovel was just what the grandson wanted. He has a metal detector and wanted a light shovel. This one is light weight but very sturdy. Should handle what he wants to do.

I bought this item because it appeared to fit a need I had to have an entrenching tool in BOB or in the vehicle.Since it has arrived and I have had the opportunity to actually use it I am pleased with it’s performance and price. The quality is absolutely 100% as advertised and the item is rugged and tough enough to handle the rigorous needs of a minimalist camper, hiker, hunter and survivalist.

The axe can't really chop much due to the curved shovel design and the saw can't really cut much for the same reason. The folding design is really functional and makes it easy to store basically anywhere. I would pick this over the other brands because I've had it for one for over 2 years and the metal is just as strong with no rusting issues.

I just got this shovel and was amazed with the weight and construction. Well made, sturdy and versatile. Size works for what I need,easy and conveinent to assemble. The nylon case can be carried on your belt, and has a strap to hang it on a hook. Great tool to keep on hand for emergency issues.

I ordered this for a vacation trip and couldn’t be more happy with it. Light weight, easy to expand and collapse. Fits great in backpack. It’s like the one I used in the Army. (Better really, because I wasn’t digging a foxhole). If your a camper, backpacker, or off-roader it’s a must. Thank you

Very good construction. Fols down to a small case. I am going to use this around my camp site for fire pit. This looks like it will last me for years.

A lot smaller than I thought it would be. Would work better as a pick than a shovel. Very small for digging, you would have to really bend to use it as a shovel, still, it could come in handy for some tasks.
