Seals Well Once You Get The Hang Of It
Our vacuum sealer by NutriChef arrived yesterday and we used it to seal up 10 chicken breasts. The first three seals did not get all of the air out, but by the fourth time, we had the hang of it and all of the rest sealed completely with no extra air in the bags. The key is the inside of the bag needs to be dry near the seal area, and the bag needs to be over to the right of the machine so the vacuum port is close to the open edge of the bag. Once we figured that out, it worked perfectly each time. I am looking forward to not having to throw away freezer burned food like we do with anything we freeze in a ziplock type bag.

Absolutely love this thing! It seals well, and has great suction.I use it mainly for avocados, because I’m the only one In our house that enjoys them.I think this machine will save me lots of money!

Makes a good solid seal on first attempt!!
The media could not be loaded. Very impressed with this vacuum sealer! Seems to be very well made it has an adjustable sealing time.. and if I drank wine it has an attachment to seal my wine bottles after they've been opened I might use it for salad dressing and things of that sort that I home make

I was fooled just long enough.
We were fooled just long enough. Sure, we knew we get what we pay for, so we lined it up just right, held the lid down while it sealed, and we thought, Sure, we can deal with this. Now it's past it's return point and it sucks, but not in the good way. It does not seal consistently and it's overall, just a cheap product that isn't worth 20 dollars. So, we're going to take a loss on this and order a name brand.

Easy to use!
Really easy to use! Be sure to read the directions a head of time. Worth every penny...especially the wine corks! Opened a bottle wine and used the vacuum cork, it helped keep the flavor so well!

Hard to open and the gasket inside broke.
The media could not be loaded. The gasket inside broke and is hard to seal and vacuum. I rarely use it. However, when I cook for events. I like to season my food seal it and sometimes seal and vacuum. I still think it is good to have. Especially when you love to cook.

For the price, it's good.
For the price, you can't beat it. Only thing missing is a bag cutter. It is a little difficult to close but it gets easier after a time.
