The maple laminations look like they were cut with a cheese grater
Do not buy this bow. I read reviews that the limbs were junk and others that said they weren't. Mine are twisted right out of the box! The maple laminations look like they were cut with a cheese grater. I called Martin for warranty service and they were like uhhh... ummm... maybe... uhhh... just return it to the dealer. Thanks for nothing Martin Archery.

Great for price.
Fantastic!! They finally made much needed adjustments to the riser. There was a well known complaint about the riser twisting at higher draw weights with the original Jaguar but that seems to have been fixed with this one. I like the size of the bow and the grip feels nice in the hand. The riser felt a bit more plastic than some of the other bows I have used and the limbs kind of popped out as rough when I first took them out of the box. Don't let this fool you though. The riser is of good aluminium and light and the limbs are strong and well built. Shooting it a few times will prove this. Something Else I loved about this bow is Martin give you everything you will need to get started (except for arrows which is a no brainer). It comes with A rest and a pretty decent stringer. This is an Awesome bow for the asking price and will perform well as a solid run around bow.

Week done with exceptions
Not a bad bow. The instructions for assembly were a bit schetchy but easy enough after a few minutes of study. The arrow rest that came with the bow was a task. Took a pair of pliers to get it to the proper depth in the riser to align it with the string. Once that was done it wasn't bad. It is light weight and a comfortable grip. Much lighter than my other recurve. The pull is 55lbs but it feels like 45 instead. All in all, I'm very pleased with the bow. Can't wait for bow season.

Martin Archery Warranty (or lack of)
4 stars for the bow1 star for Martin Archery WarrantyIn November 2016 I bought a brand new 2015 Martin Jaguar bow from an authorized Martin Archery reseller on ebay. The bow was supposed to have a full warranty for 1 year. The bow came with a very cheap/flimsy plastic arrow rest which broke within a week but not before destroying the fletching on a few of my arrows.I replaced the broken rest with another rest which had an adhesive side to be attached to the riser.Later I had to take the new rest off to reposition it.When I took the rest off it also took most of the paint in the area where it was placed. Now my black Martin Jaguar has an area of 1.5 X 0.75 inches without any paint (see photo). The arrow rest I used is really intended to be used with metal risers like this one (see photos).I only shot this bow inside my garage and I always took good care of it, always handling it gently (never dropped it, etc). After 1 month of using the bow I have a variety of smaller places on the riser which lost their paint too.I believe that the painting job on the riser is bad, and that is the reason that it falls off.I contacted Martin Archery customer support about this issue within a month from the time of purchase.-They stated that the finish is not covered under warranty if you use an arrow rest with an adhesive sight.-They could not send me any paint so that I repaint the riser myself.-They could not even tell me what kind of black paint I should use on my riser. This should teach everybody a lesson about the value (or lack of) of Martin Archery warranty.
