Cofresh Sweet/ Spicy Cornflakes Mix
This is a very nice snack. I found it on Amazon when I was looking for Bombay mix and it looked interesting so I decided to give it a try. The taste is hard to describe but it's kind of mildly spicy at the same time as being sweet. It makes a nice change from Bombay mix. It's very moreish. It has become one of my favourite snacks. I was worried I wasn't going to like it because I looked at the ingredients on Amazon only after I had already ordered it and the ingredients said it has both chilli powder and cinnamon in it and that sounded like a very strange combination of flavours. I was worried I wouldn't like it but it works well. Some people have said the cornflakes get a bit boring in their reviews but I don't think that's the case at least for me. This is very good value for money. If you like Indian snacks and have an open mind I would definitely recommend this.

Nice but quite bland
I usually like this kind of mix, the ones that are mainly noodles, lentils and peanuts - but this is very bland. There is a large proportion of noodles compared to other mixes but they aren't really flavoured so the main taste is the vegetable oil used to cook them. Still nice though, probably an acceptable second-best if my favourite (Suma Bombay Mix) should vanish, but just a little too bland.

Fesh, crispy
Very fresh tasting. Needs more spice and more peanuts, raisins etc. as the cornflakes get a bit boring. I would pay more if the recipe was improved and the bags were smaller. Incredible value.

Well spiced but not enough heat
You can really taste the gorgeous spices. 4 stars because not enough heat and quite sweet. I added crushed chilli flakes and salt and it is perfect but far too moreish.

No Curry
What do I expect from a Bombay Mix? Well, dried lentils, peas, nuts, corn, peanuts and whatever. Plus dried noodles, of course. All mixed with a blend of salt and spices, giving it a hot spicy curry flavour. In this bag, I get all that, except from the spices. OK, there is some chilli that brings a hot after-taste, but there are no other curry-like spices in this one. Perhaps there is another variety in the Cofresh assortment that is more similar to the Bombay Mix I want, it is hart to tell as the descriptions on Amazon are rather short.I really hope that Amazon once again start to sell Harappa Hot Hot Chilli Bombay Mix 60 g (Pack of 12) , as they were both hot ans perfectly spicy. In a great package, too.In the meantime, I would recommend Haldiram Bombay Mix 200 g (Pack of 6) .

Not a good substitute for Bombay mix.
I bought this because Bombay mix was out of stock and wish I hadn't bothered. Little variety in the content and not much taste. Won't buy any more.
