This grease gun is a good one. It works as it is supposed to do. Had trouble when I ordered it the first time with the mail service USPS. The postal service lost it somewhere in their mail system. I done as I was supposed to do with everything even gave a few extra days just incase it was just a little more late. But in the end the postal service lost. I done a replacement order for the grease gun through the process like I was supposed to do an it was replaced an got here in a few days of the replacement time frame. The ones I ordered the grease gun from, it was not their fault. I like what I received an it works good for what I need it for hands down.

I needed an additional grease gun for silicone based grease. This grease gun works great for the average diy'er. I really liked the inclusion of the different tips and the fact that you can use it with or without the hose. I did not have any problems loading a cartridge or priming it and it provides plenty of pressure for greasing the suspension components on my 4x4 truck. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap option for use at home. Probably not the best for professional use, but that is to be expected in this price range.

This comes with many nozzles which are tailored for many purposes. They are easily interchangeable just by unscrewing the old one and screwing in the next.Once I figured it out (it's been many years since I've loaded one) it was easy to load the tube of grease and use it. There are several other ways to load it too, which are described in the manual.Only 4 starts though because when you slide the piston back to load it, it has a VERY strong spring and the locking mechanism doesn't hold it back very well. While I was filling it, the piston slipped, slid back and hit my knuckle with such force that it turned purple within a minute. It's still sore so I learned my lesson very quickly. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Keep your hands and fingers away from that plunger while it's pulled back! Fill with caution.Other than that, once it's filled, it works well.

1st time used a grease gun, replaced lawn tractor and trailer tires and they had grease fittings for bearings and axles. Purchased this and two tubes of red grease, didn't really follow loading instructions and basically had a mess and 15 minutes wrestling a spring back in. Watched a video and wow, 10 seconds and no mess when you load correctly. There is no reason to take the plunger side off, just pull plunger handle back hard and rod stays out, simple, then unscrew head, load grease tube, screw head back on, leave loose, release plunger lever, push plunger rod back in, tighten head and ready to use. Didn't need the air release button, worked fine for first tube and loaded up another. Used flex tube with grease fitting tip. Quality product. Great purchase, especially when you do it right !

They plunger handle will NOT lock into place to load the cartridge. The locking tab will NOT hold the plunger rod in place in the pull back (loading) position. The locking tab is a major flaw design. I would not buy any grease gun that uses this design. 40 years of working on my own cars, so I know that it shouldn't take an hour to load a grease gun. Using brute force to hold it, while my buddy screwed on the top, I finally got it on. Oh, but the "fun" continued. The tolerance on the grease nozzle (part that attaches to zerc fitting) were such that once on, it did not want to come off. Grease nozzle had to be pried off with tool. I guess I'm just lucky it didn't rip the zerc fitting out. Not chancing it. Sending it, back. They can keep the grease as a present from me.

It looks much better made than my old one. I gave it a 3 stars because I have not actually used it yet. I hope to put my trailer in the shop next week and grease the wheel bearings and plan on using it. My old one, after sitting for a while with a gease cycliner in it, will leak grease. As stated, this one looks and feels (weighs more so, judging by the weight) better built. So, I don't think it will do the same as the old one. I will hide it or my son will find it and it will be at a pawnshop before I can use it again to grease the tractor.

They appear to be well made. The first one they delivered had bad threads on 1 end. I sent it back. The second one seems to be working fine.

Returned it before I even got a grease cartridge in it.
