Sturdy links that make hanging interior or exterior chandeliers much easier. No need to pry open metal links to remove or add chain sections, or buy light canopies with an attached quick link chain connector. The black links were a perfect match to the links on the chain of a black lantern exterior porch light. I added a second link to the remaining section of the extra chain, which was used for a second light. A simple, easy product that works.

I will be using these quick links in to hang an island ceiling light to the canopy instead of the closed D links that came with the light (which are almost impossible to spread apart then pinch back together). This will make it simpler to hang the light. My light only weighs about 12lbs so it should work. The description should include a maximum weight tolerance for these quick links. I would be hesitant to hang anything over 20lbs using these quick links, there are only about 3-4 threads to screw into for the closure. I would have given them 5 stars if it had been weight rated and more threads.

These are great for when I need something secured but not exposed to possible disengaging when I don't want it to! Carabiners work for things that I need to attach and detach quickly. These are for more permanent use! The barrel nuts work well. Size allows me to use in a lot of applications where the clip needs to be small!

These D shaped links are perfect if you want to adjust the length of a hanging lamp. No need to pry open existing links. Just hook one onto the existing link and hook it into an existing link higher up to shorten the chain and raise the lamp. I moved this lamp up about 6 inches.

They were small, but the part that unscrewed had a stopper that locks and made it too big to fit thru what I needed it for..so small in one way and to big in another. Had to return.
