I was a little upset at the lack of Dolby Vision on this release and those after but I believe this was a 20th Century fox grading and I'll freely add it looks amazing even without Dolby vision. Rich colours with a more true to the orginal tonal curves , HDR pop is present in all the right places I'd put this with Rogue one on the visuals. The studio did a great job ! The Atmos sound track works great on this series , space battles alonh with various scenes all have added depth thanks to this ! No added extras but hey the original VHS has zero too! A truly classic film that has had the right amount of love given to it , bringing out it's best , film grain is present but finer really showing off the details on sets and characters As stated add it to your collection you won't be disappointed On a side note flicking between the Disney+ version the added brightness from Dolby vision in this particular case takes a way a little from the atmosphere of the film and in some cases has watered down the contrast in some scenes , by product is increased shadow details but I'll say I prefer the HDR variant in this particular case ! Absolutely worth adding to the silver disc collection! Don’t be too proud of this technological achievement.
Only kidding. It’s excellent. Recently bought a 4K player and thought I’d start with this disc to test it out. I only had DVDs of the trilogy before so this was a huge upgrade - sonically and visually. It really is a sumptuous treat and will make you fall in love with Star Wars all over again. I’ve not read great things about Empire or Jedi, but I will get them at some point as I love the original trilogy. The bonus features and audio are really outstanding. I think the picture is excellent but I’m going to compare it to films like 2001 before I know exactly how good it is. All in all, I absolutely recommend you picking this up. Great fun.

Onde tudo começou! Tudo nesse filme é excelente, principalmente dado o contexto da época e sua relevância para o cinema como um todo. Não é o melhor filme de Star Wars, mas é da série Legends (era George Lucas) que, por si só, já é sinônimo de refinamento. Recomendo.
