I replaced other brand dusk to dawn bulbs that performed very inconsistently with these, and they operate perfectly, unaffected by other light sources and always coming on at dusk.

I often forget to turn on the outdoor lights in the evening, so I started looking into whether or not there were any candelabra style (E12) bulbs that could solve the problem for me.First, I tried some candelabra smart bulbs by Lumiman, but their light was exceptionally harsh. Instead of trying a different smart bulb brand (Hue bulbs are _so_ overpriced), I rolled the dice on these Sunco dawn-to-dusk bulbs in the warmest tone, 2700K. I'm so glad I did! They look great. Not _quite_ as beautiful as incandescents, but really close.I despise harsh and/or blue light more than 99.9% of people on Earth—I'm very sensitive to even a hint of glare or blueness—and these bulbs don't set off my "ick" response at all. They're a warm, soft white but also bright enough to light my pathway and driveway. And I love, love, love that I don't have to download an app to use them. Just screw them in and forget it! I also love the enhanced security of being able to leave the lights on all night.For me, they worked exactly as expected. At night, they turn themselves on. In the morning, they turn themselves off. Note: my lantern-style lights have clusters of bulbs right next to one another. For me, this did not affect the performance. In other words, the light from the adjacent bulbs did not keep the others on during daylight, as reported in some reviews.The lights do turn themselves off maybe a little after what I expected (an hour or so after sunrise?), but I think having the lights on until 7:30AM is a small price to pay for never having to think about turning them off or on again.And I mean _literally_ a small price to pay. I used one of those online calculators to figure out how much it will cost to have these on all night (and into the early morning) and it's still just a tiny fraction of what it costs to have incandescents on for just four or five hours at night.Now, I'm planning on getting some for the back patio area now too!

These are very bright when on, which I like. Used 3 bulbs in an outdoor light on the corner of my garage. Dawn to dusk function is working nicely. as advertised and very satisfied. Bought pack of 6 so I have backup or I could use in other outdoor lights also.

This is the second time we've ordered these light bulbs for our outdoor lights. They have a nice warm color, unlike many LEDs, but that don't appear to last as long as the LED light bulb industry have promised. But no worries, they're not that expensive and we'll just replace them like any other light bulb.

These dusk to dawn lights worked perfectly in the front porch chandelier. I bought a six pack in January of 2021. The chandelier only takes three bulbs. It is now November 2024 and I am just now needing to put in the last three bulbs from the package. That is nearly three years before needing to change bulbs. Now that I have put in the last three bulbs, I am back to buy another six pack.

Looked nice and bright but One rain storm and they already stopped working.***Update*** 3/28/24I have to apologize on my past review. I had a short from the rainstorm so once I fixed it, the bulbs lit right up. So for that I will give this 5 stars because they do work well.Sorry Sunco Lighting!

These bulbs are great anytime, but now that it gets dark earlier they extend the time we can dine outside.I have some in my front light fixture also and they have lasted over a year.

I have 3 of these bulbs in 2 different outdoor light fixtures (6 total). Out of the original 6 bulbs, that were all installed at the same time, only 2 still work! In one fixture, 2 bulbs burnt out and only 1 is still working. In the other fixture, 1 burnt out, 1 flickers most of the time, and only 1 still works properly. 2 out of 6 are not good odds. They have been in use, just overnight/dark for 1 year 5 months. So even being generous and rounding up to 1 1/2 years use, at 10hrs per night, that is less than 5,500 hours of usage. These bulbs failed long before the advertised 25,000 hours. I mean, it would not be a big deal IF it was easy to get them replaced under warranty. Seems like it should be easier to “click” on warranty information and actually be able to get help with problematic products. Just another product that over promises and under delivers.

These bulbs are not dusk to dawn, or not sensitive enough for it to work. They stay on in broad day light if you leave the switch on. The color is also too bright for ‘warm white’.

Once I learned about dusk to dawn bulbs I have discovered that these bulbs work perfectly! So far, these bulbs are great.

If you leave them on for longer then 8 hours they go out. You have to turn them off and back on.
