Nov 03, 2025 - iRobot Roomba 692 Vacuum Cleaning Robot - Manufacturers Certified Refurbished! Roomba 690-series for the WIN!!! I have one that is 8 years old (IIRC), and this one, and they are still fabulous! Yes, it gets caught somewhere, sometimes. Just go get it. Yes, you have to wipe its butt (empty the bin), but that's easy. However, it works like it should, doesn't map your house, sets right up, reasonable in cost, has much better battery life than the fancy-dancy roomba systems NOW offered, and it WORKS. Did I mention they WORK!

Well, I’ve been using Roombas for over 20 years, but I am not a big fan of the newest models. I use them primarily for dog hair because I have two Siberian huskies, and they just don’t work as well as the older models. So my last two Roombas have been refurbished older models from this Seller. And I love them. I have two that I run at least every other day. This particular model is great for picking up dog hair off thick carpeting or wood floors. Lifesavers really. They run over an hour easily and are very effective. I clean them after each use so they stay effective. I noticed also they are quieter than my last one, which is a plus. The Seller does a great job refurbishing Roombas. They work as well as any brand new one you can buy. And when you get your delivery and open the box, it’s like you’re getting a brand new Roomba.

All-in-all I've been pleased. It's louder than I thougth it would be and it can get stuck on cords (make sure you pick them up or secure them). However, it picks up dirt really well on hardwood floors. Once I got the docking station away from other things, it would dock at the end correctly. Just like the other robots, it doesn't "see" stool or chair legs , it'll run into them. But it does slow down as it nears the walls/bigger furniture. It runs for 2+ hours every time and the dustbin is completely full. The app is easy to use and setup.

I’ve used an expensive rainbow vacuum for years plus a cordless shark and finally pulled the trigger on a roomba and I’m so glad. I have two shedding dogs ( chow and GSD) and it is great to have run daily to keep up with true tumbleweeds of dog hair. If you have dogs you will have to empty the trap thing and pull hair out of the brush thing but they are super easy to remove and empty so I’m fine doing that if I don’t have to do the rest of the work. Having the vacuum run on the schedule and stay on top of the mess really makes a big difference in our house. It will get caught in random places at times or get jammed with a kids toy, but overall way worth it. Just wish I would have bought it years ago.

The vacuum cleaner works as expected, it vacuums, but there is a severe privacy issues with the application, this is a basic model that has only three functions available namely vacuum park and pause. It’s important to know that it doesn’t have any mapping ability, however the application demands to know the location of your phone, it gives a lame excuse that it’s necessary to connect it to your network it of course, is not. It is a privacy violation and if you don’t grant it, it will repeatedly disconnect, leaving you with the longer and more complicated reconnect procedure as your only option. Or since you know about this before purchasing it, you can simply buy a different brand. I’m just stuck.

Works perfectly and looks new. Does a great job.

I finally broke my old Roomba 595 and had to replace it. I have a dog that creates little tumbleweeds of dog hair every day, and a Roomba is indispensible. I dIdn't want to pay hundreds and hundreds to replace it. I tried this new version in refurbished condition and am quite pleased. The battery from the old Roomba fit this one, and I got the new capabilities (mobile app controls) for a nice price. The Roomba had fewer than 4.5 hours usage when I got it, and I've put it through more than 15 hours with no issues at all. It struggles on weird area rugs, or getting stuck under tight spots just like any Roomba, but it's so much better than not having it!

Great bargain as I purchased the reconditioned option.
