So far I like it! My hair has oily roots with dry ends. I’ve been noticing some hair fall too. My hair is very picky when it comes to shampoo and conditioner so I’m always scared of choosing the wrong one. I bought the sensitive scalp shampoo and damage care conditioner. Since I started using them I noticed my hair look more lively and less hair fall. My hair feels cleaner and looks a little more manageable. It suds perfectly when I’m showering and leaves a nice scent behind.

I absolutely fell in love with this shampoo. The scent is amazing, delicate yet sophisticated, making the shower experience even more enjoyable 🌿 From the very first wash, you can feel a true cleanse of both the hair and scalp, without dryness or that heavy feeling. The hair feels light, soft, and full of natural movement, while the scalp feels extremely comfortable. The bottle was packed in a paper package envelope along with another purchase without a seal or separate bag to protect it from leaking! Once I opened the package, the fragrance was so strong that I’m not sure I can stand using this product without getting a headache. I’m disappointed bc I really want to try this shampoo. However, I’m very curious on how it will perform on my hair. I may report later for an updated review if I decide not to return it. Update Review 12/28: (Changed star rating to 4, took one star off because of the shipping/packaging issue) I have now used this shampoo several times and have to say, it performs well on my hair and scalp. This is the first product that has not made my scalp itchy and “achey” after one day of shampooing my hair. It’s really gentle on my scalp. The fragrance was not as bad as I stated in my previous review. If anything, it’s quite pleasant, reminds me of lychee. As far as hair fall, I’ve definitely noticed less fall in the shower after use. I think the shampoo I was using before (a popular one that is recently getting bad reviews for change of formulation due to the co. getting bought out) had so many ingredients that my scalp did not like at all, but this product is gentle and lives up to what it claims. I’m pretty satisfied with the brand also, I may purchase the conditioner next. However, I want to reiterate again to please use better packaging when shipping to avoid leakage.

Thought this product was perfect after the first few washes. Smelled nice and made my hair feel soft. For reference I wash every other day, have naturally straight hair, with a bit of dandruff and on day three of no wash my scalp will get oily. Fast fwd, after about 4 uses of this product I started to see large amounts of hair loss, at first I thought it could be due to stress or color treatments but I've kept up my hair care so much since I bought this in the beginning of the month of September, it's now November and I can safely assume it's this product. Once I checked the reviews I realized that I'm experiencing what other customers have. I've found that my scalp is insanely dry, not much dandruff but the amount of itching has been intolerable. I purchased the product because I specifically wanted Korean hair care but it's just not working with me unfortunately.

I’ve been using this shampoo since April 2025, and overall I haven’t noticed a major difference in my hair. I have an oily scalp and chose this shampoo because I wanted something that would help control oil without completely drying out my scalp. The first time I used it, it actually left my scalp feeling quite dry, but using a hydrating conditioner afterward helped balance that out. The label says to “strength,” but I didn’t really see those results. I also have thin hair and was hoping it would help make my hair feel thicker and reduce oiliness. While it didn’t noticeably thicken my hair, it does help manage oil. Overall, it works for controlling oil, but I recommend pairing it with a moisturizing conditioner so your hair and scalp don’t feel dried out.

Deep Cleansing: I think I found my holy grail shampoo. I typically use head and shoulders shampoo just to tame the itch I have. I don’t really have dandruff, just the itchiness and excess sebum if I don’t wash my hair daily. I was hesitant to try this out, but I figured worst case scenario I return it. But, that’s not the case luckily. I love that a small amount lathers up really well so you don’t really need to pump a whole lot in your palm. It smells great too! Oily Scalp (purple bottle): I decided to try out the oily scalp version of the shampoo since I enjoy the deep cleansing version so much. My hair felt and looked great, but I could not get passed the strong smell. It smells like licorice to me and it makes me feel almost sick to my stomach and causes me a migraine. So sadly that one is not going to be in my rotation. I wish Amazon allowed reviews for individual items rather than the whole listing, so I won’t be knocking a star off my original review, but for sure the purple one is not it for me. It might be for others that are okay with strong scents.

Have been a loyal RYO customer for several years . It promotes hair growth and makes my fine hair fuller. Couldn't possible consider anything but RYO !

this shampoo made me break out in hives after two uses, i’m not allergic to anything but this made me get a very bad reaction. 0/5 i would not recommend
