For just £40 I wasn't expecting much, but this cheap as chips projector really delivers. Good frame rate, colour saturation, deep black levels and acceptable 1080 resolution with pixelation only really apparent on huge screen size projection.The mechanical focus is a little agricultural but useable. Mechanical keystone correction is augmented with electronic correction via the on screen menu. Setting good focus at the periphery of the screen takes a little time, requiring keystone and focus to be fiddled with. I found that a little less than perfect keystone setting gave the best overall results, probably due to the focus mechanism's poor mechanical tolerance. The cooling fan is about the same level of noise as a typical bathroom extractor fan - the noise spectrum it produces is not particularly annoying either. I think you'd be hard pushed to buy a second hand monitor at this price that delivers 52" plus performance this good. Sound quality - meh.

I've had this less than a day, but it does exactly what I wanted it to do... i.e. Project images from my ipad (via hdmi cable, plus ipad lightning to hdmi cable, which I already have), onto a blank canvas, so that I can sketch the outline of an image. I used to have a pocket projector which was also great, but the very old ipod I connected it to is now kaputt, so I needed to find an alternative.I've tried the sound out too, and it's absolutely fine. Not tinny, and enough depth to it. The running sound of the unit isn't too bad.For the money it's a great little projector.My only criticism would be that it would have been practical to highlight the buttons on the unit in white (like they are on the remote), as they're very difficult to see which button is what when all black, even with glasses on and a bright light!Had to go out and buy batteries for the remote, as they're not supplied.

Tried it straight from a table and noticed the keystone effect was throwing it out of focus on the edges. I tried it on a tripod making it reasonably level with the screen and voila! perfect picture. To be fair it is absolutely fine for the money. If you want a projector for occasional use, or for presentations, this will be more than fine, but if you want perfection buy a top industrial type for £1000+

Easy to set up and use, transportable, and cinematic. I bought to play games with it because buying a new monitor costs more, and this projector is worth it since it can also expand in size. The trick is making sure the angle and distance is right so no parts are blurred. I have used the HDMI and earphones ports and they work great. Projector fan isn't so quiet when it's on but I think the sounds from whatever game/movie is playing sort of hide that.

Looking good and very compact but the picture quality is not what I was expecting - you get what you pay for I guess. I was getting really bad headaches after only few minutes watching it. Needed to return

I bought this projector in one of the lightning deals and it has more than lived up to my expectations. The projector has 2 USB ports, an HDMI port, and a VGA port. all of these work very well with a clear picture. the projector's remote works in all directions and is very responsive. the projection is clear and crisp with minimal blur after focusing. the focusing wheel is manual which I don't mind too much. The picture was 1080p and full HD. The projector itself looks smart, it's compact and lightweight and the carry case that comes with it is also a bonus. all in all, this is a very decent projector and an absolute steal for the price. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

This compact projector is ideal for use wirh my computer for presentations. It is easy to set up and the picture is of a good quality. Had to buy longer leads but other than that would recomend.

Sadly item has internal dust which caused spots right in the middle of the projection which are internal so not removable and stand out when watching anything. Returning for refund, poor quality control. Lens was covered in marks, really disappointed as this was for a family holiday.
