Easy, Works.
I have an old Warn winch mounted on a car trailer. This makes life so much easier. It was simple to install and has plenty of range for working around the trailer. The remote feels good in the hand. The unit was too big to mount under the solenoid cover so it is exposed to sun and weather. I will update if any UV or water problems arise. So far it has been rained on a couple times and no issues.

Works great with Badlands winch
Easy replacement for harbor freight badlands 2500 winch. In and out wire colors don't match. Use yellow for white and white for yellow. It was easy to figure out though.

Works great for wireless winch control.
Installed this for an added wireless control option for my UTV, and it works as intended. There were no physical wiring diagrams included, there is a picture on the listing. Quick and easy to install, works at 50ft away within line of sight.Overall, it gets 4stars.

Non functional
I installed the unit to replace a push button wired switch for a winch. The lug eyelets were far too small to wire up to standard terminals so I replaced the terminals with something of appropriate size, hence, the unit cannot be returned. It is non functional because there is a dead short between the motor control wires as checked with a multimeter, with and without power supplied. The unit sounds like a contact is actuating but the meter indicates aa dead short. I am a retired Engineering Manager with decades of experience designing and building electromechanical systems. The problem is not a user issue. I suppose I will cut the control module open and effect repairs, if possible. Or perhaps buys another remote controller elsewhere.

Worked out of box just fine
I looked at a few of these before pulling the trigger on this one. Saw several low reviews of not working/smoke coming out and quitting/ wires melting. It had a basic install sheet in it, in black and white, so you had to look closely to figure out the difference between the yellow and white wire.I have to wonder on the ones that reportedly smoked quickly, wires were either in the wrong spot, or they tried controlling the winch motor directly !?? Don't even know how that could have been. Existing applications should have a reversing power relay (cable directional relay) that you control with the remote module. Was able to fit mine in under the relay/manual cable connect bulkhead box. Wired it in, in parallel with the remote cord wires from the bulkhead connector--in case it dies on me I can plug the wired control back in and go.Have used it several times so far--application is a service winch-crane to lift heavy stuff (up to 55GL barrels of oil/coolant) in to the service area of my truck.

Simple add-on for Winch
I was having trouble loading items on my trailer due to the short reach of the corded remote on my Superwinch X-3. I bought the QWORK wireless receiver with two hand controls and installed it. I was able to mount the receiver underneath the plastic cover, and wire it in without affecting how the plug-in remote works. I found that the wireless remotes work up to 100 ft away, though there is a slight delay in the actuation of the winch beyond about 75 ft which could be a problem for fine control. Since my winch cable is only 30 ft long, this is not a problem, and the device works very well so far. I was concerned about the light gauge of the wire on the receiver since is is much lighter than the wire on my corded remote, but there was no problem in actuating the solenoids. I just made an adaptor jumper wire to step up to a larger connector and put it on the solenoid leads. Wiring was otherwise no problem once I figured out the in and out solenoids on the winch. I am well satisfied with the price and performance so far!

Great Remote Easy Install
I bought this to replace a broken switch on my Badland winch. I also wanted the remote capability while loading and unloading my car. I didn't know if it would work but thought I would give it a try anyway. It was easier than I thought it would actually be. I took the switch handle apart which is on a 5 foot factory cable for the Badland and it had three female spade fittings into the switch. One wire was "IN", another wire was "OUT" and the third was "Power". I cut the ends off of the remote wire and put a male spades on them and they pushed right into the three spades from the factory cable. I added the ground to the battery and everything worked perfectly.I can now stand back much further than needed and operate the winch. Fantastic

Original product defective from factory
I am revising my earlier 1 star review. I returned the original one and the company sent me a free replacement. I wired the second one into the existing winch solenoid (same steps as the first one)and it works as it should. The first one was defective straight out of the box. The replacement works good. I spent a lot of time trying to get the first one to work so if it doesn’t work at first try a replacement.

Unit does not work
Bought unit several months ago and have not had time to install until now. Ring terminals on several wires were too small to be of any use on my application, no big deal, cut them off and install new ones. Remotes both turn on and off with no issue but there is no voltage out of either the white or yellow wires that actually control the winch contactor. Can here relays in the receiver clicking when pushing the in or out buttons, but winch does not operate. Winch and contactor operate normally with original wired remote. My own fault for not making the time to install this unit until now.

Time delay
Well arrived quickly. Instructions were pretty decent. Was very simple to install.But......there is a noticeable time delay both when pushing button down to engage and after releasing button.I don't really care about the delay after pressing buttom down to engage , the problem is the delay when wanting the winch to stop when the hook arrives back at the winch. You have to predict the delay so the hook doesn't bottom out ( run out of slack line / cable )and jam into the line on the winch drum.Quess how I know this...lolIn all honesty I've gone to finshing the last few inches of free line with the manual switch on the handle bar to stow hook.In general it works fine for my intended purpose of using the winch remotely away from my bike. But consideration of the time delay should be given for YOUR application.
