The XL fit as expected in the body and its cups were mostly adequate for 40D. It was a gift and my fiancé really liked its style, fit, construction and regular double bra clasps and triple row hooks. The g-string panty is her preferred style of which she was equally pleased. Its bralet isnt under-wired; therefore, expect minimal support - the cups are still flattering lace and soft fabric, and also everywhere else. We bought black and now she wants a 2nd in red. Yippee!
