Saved my plant!
I picked up the sticky traps to help deal with flying insects around my houseplants and it was a lifesaver. One of my plants was infected with gnats, and these traps caught them before they could do any more damage, essentially saving the plant. The bright yellow color really attracts gnats, whiteflies, and other small bugs, and once they land, they’re stuck - the adhesive is incredibly effective. I’ve used these traps both inside and outside, and they hold up well even in sunlight because the glue is UV-resistant and waterproof. They’re easy to handle without sticking your fingers, and I love that they’re non-toxic, making them safe around pets and kids. Affordable, simple to use, and incredibly effective, these traps are a must-have for anyone dealing with plant pests. My plant is thriving again, and I couldn’t be happier!

Love these!! Pests love them too!
These are the absolute best thing for plant collectors. There is zero smell to these. They are so bright in color the bugs can’t resist. They have a very great effectiveness rate and save my plants on the daily. They are so much better than those buzzing bug catches, these are silent and don’t make a sound! You got like a ton in the box and the price is great. If you want to save your plants- get these today!!

Updated: THEY WORK but be patient!!
UPDATED REVIEW: these traps do work!! You can see from my old review that in the first 9 days there was only one gnat stuck to one trap (out of 3 traps). However, just a few days after that, there were tons of gnats stuck to these traps! I have no clue what changed and why they all suddenly started working... but they did! There are still a few pesky gnats flying around but not nearly as many as there would have been. I even put 3 more up (two more in my room and one nearly the kitchen fruit bowl), and they have all caught some. I will add more pics of a couple of traps for comparison. Bottom line: I do recommend these. They worked for me for both plant gnat issues and fruit flies, but it took a full 2 weeks for me to see them work. This also seems to be the cheapest pack/best deal for gnat traps! By the way, the first trap I saw with the lots of gnats was attached to a cup with apple cider vinegar, so that may have helped. Old review: I don’t like to write negative reviews of products, but the company asks for your honest review, and honestly... these have not worked for me at all. I have had these in my room for over a week (9 days), and there are still gnats everywhere. I have put 3 in my bedroom (2 in different plants, 1 on a cup of apple cider vinegar near a plant), and one in hanging in my bathroom. I’m 95% sure that my gnats come from the various potted plants in my room, but ironically the only trap that has caught a gnat is the one hanging in my bathroom where I do not have any plants. In the pic you will see two gnats on one side, and one gnat on the other; the two trapped gnats were ones I caught by hand to test how sticky it was (it is very sticky on both sides). As I was taking pics for this review, noticed the other gnat on the other side- so these traps have caught 1 gnat in nine days. I will leave these traps up in hopes that maybe they will ... start working? I’m not sure why these do not work for me, but I doubt that other more expensive brands have products that are any better. This product is easy to use, and the adhesive is very sticky. I am giving it 2 stars because these traps (I put up 4) have only caught 1 gnat, but at least they have caught one! I will update if they catch any more.

Works great, sometimes difficult to place due to stickiness!
Worked very well. Was gross. We have a problem with Fungus gnats. They will come back if you don't replace the soil, but these do a good job of distracting and killing the things. I took one star off because I feel like they need a small portion of the bottom part (top) or the connecting strip to be nonsticky! I had trouble with some of them sticking to me and things they were not supposed to stick to because I could not accurately place them! They are effective though. Good size but I wish there were more sizes for different plants. Great value for money. A must have for plant owners.

Works well
Very sticky and definitely attracts the gnats. Disgustingly satisfying to see it fill up. You'll need to use for at least a couple months to catch all the new rounds of the gnat life cycles, but eventually you'll notice that you're catching fewer gnats, which means it's working. I left the final empty sticky trap inserted an additional couple weeks just to make sure I captured every last one of them. Haven't seen any since.

A trap that really traps
this is so simple to set up and it really works! You will be amazed at the number of gnats it traps.

Cute bug traps, effective?
These are cute little cutout shapes. There are several shapes: butterfly, star, etc. The shaped area is coated in a transparent sticky substance. 36 came in the box. I've put them around the house. Two in every room. We get tiny fruit flies that are annoying. The stickies have been deployed for a week. No flies caught yet. They do buzz around, but so far they've eluded the traps.

I am so pleased with this item!
If you're reading a bunch of reviews while searching for yellow sticky cards, stop now and buy these. The number one complaint I saw on other products of the same type is that the paper was very difficult to remove from the sticky portion. On this product, however, the paper was incredibly easy to remove, even when I tore it in half while removing. Just bend the sticky card at the point that connects the shape to the part that goes into the soil, and you'll see a tab that's not stuck to the card. Easy peasy! I had no problem pushing them into the soil in my planters (the second biggest complaint I saw). Of course, if you try to push it into the center of your pot, you're likely to encounter the roots of your plant. I found it worked best to slide it along the edge of the pot when possible. The items were firm enough to make this an easy task. The biggest question: Do they work? These photos were taken only 30 minutes after I put them in my pots, so I'd say they definitely work. (Yes, I have a gnat problem.) While this isn't the only thing that will likely solve the my gnat problem, it's an important part. Catching these adult gnats will decrease the number of eggs that can be laid in the potting soil. I also soaked a mosquito dunk in water and am using that to water my plants. (Mosquito dunks are made from BTi (Bacillus Thuringiensis subspecies israelensis, which is organic and will kill the larvae in the soil.) Lastly, I'll be adding a 1/4" layer of sand to the top of my pots tomorrow, which is supposed to prevent the adults from accessing the potting soil to lay eggs. I'm confident that this 3 pronged approach, including this specific product, will solve my gnat problem over time. Besides being effective and easy to use, I appreciate that the sticky cards come in a nice box. While these are kind of gross to look at after awhile, if we're honest, I appreciate that the box holding the rest of my sticky cards will look just fine on an open shelf. It's just a nice touch. One last tip: It got dark shortly after I took this picture, and this room light was turned off while I was in the next room with a lamp on. A few gnats were attracted to the lamp I was sitting under, driving me nuts, and it didn't look like a whole lot more gnats were getting stuck on the cards in the hour that passed. I turned the light on in the room with my plants again, and they started getting stuck again and not bugging me by the lamp. I don't think it will be necessary to keep the light on all night. I just think that for a few days it might make sense to keep that room light on while I have a lamp on in the next room to avoid drawing the gnats away from my plants. After all, if they can't see the pretty yellow color, they won't be lured to the sticky surface. It's a small price to pay to get rid of the little buggers.
