EatonBR240 Type BR Circuit Breaker, 120/240 VAC, 40 A, 10 kA, 2 Poles, Common/Thermal Magnetic Trip

I replace breaker that burnt-out. Fix my problem. It works fine. This is not DIY job. Don't try this if you don't know what your doing.

I have (had) GIGANTIC wire (I think it's 4 gauge) in a big building running from the utility room to an outside (WWII era) switch box and then to a heat pump (18 SEER 4 ton). This is all from a long time ago when the place had a monster (WWII Era) A/C unit.The guys came out and installed a new box and two breakers under a deal with Chevy where you get a free EV charger install if you buy a Chevy Bolt. When they got done, there was a new box with two breakers: a 30 amp breaker for the heat pump and a 50 amp breaker for the charger, which I had already purchased. (An Emporia 48 amp charger and they hard wired it.) Over the next week or so, the heat pump tripped the 30 amp breaker twice, Not ideal. So I ordered this 40 amp breaker and installed it myself. Very easy. Problem solved! (Bear in mind there's a 60 amp breaker in the utility room in the main breaker panel, too.)
