Clean, fresh
Fresh smelling wood chunks. Decent size bag for the price for my needs. I use this for my isopods. I mix in some stuff, let soak for a while then I mix it in the substrate or use the bigger chunks as a hide. Now as far as what they are meant to be used as I dont have a clue. LoL!

Wood Chips!
The best chips ever! I thought Hickory was it but Alder chips give my chicken and ribs an amazing tender taste! Can’t go wrong with Alder wood chips!!

This product is exactly what I wanted. The smoking pan doesn’t sit on the heat coil. A fine chip but not sawdust. I’ve used similar products and have been satisfied. I have no doubt I will be happy with the smoke quality.

Great product, have used in smoking salmon and steelhead for 50+ years!!!!!! Alder chips is what I use, taste is great with a finished product, mmmmmm good!!!

Good stuff
I love heavy flavored woodchips like hickory and pecan. However alderwood gives you a bite of smoke without as much musk. We love it with fish. It's great for our mediterranean dishes.

Chips, not chunks
The package says this is wood chunks, but it is really wood chips. That was good for me, but not as advertised.

Good quality
Perfect size chips for the smoker, soaked in water for 20 minutes and had almost 1.5 hours of smoke at low heat. Got to have alder chips for smoked salmon!
