Good washing machine for small loads
I bought this washer about three months ago and purposely waited until now to write a review. I wanted to wait this long, because many people complained that their washers stopped working after a few months. So, I wanted to make sure I passed that point before I started singing it's praises. I happy to say that so far, it is performing quite well! The pros of this model are the motor is very strong, the agitator is very effective in helping to cleaning your clothes and the timer on the machine works well and can be easily changed for both the wash and spin cycles. And although I bought this unit specifically because it has the spin basket (which is very useful), I still find that I need to wring the clothes out a bit in order to get rid of some of the excess water. One of the cons with this machine is it only can handle very small loads. So I primarily use this machine for my light weight clothing. Or if I can't make it to the laundry one week. I use this washer to clean a few items like underwear, dress shirts and (occasional) very light weight sweaters or pants. However all these items can't be washed in one cycle, I would have to break it up into two or sometimes three loads. This is the same case with the spin basket. It is only big enough to handle half of the clothes that are in one wash cycle. So I only use it to spin dry heavier weight item...and it is effective for these items. Especially if you let them spin for at least 5 minutes. But, the worst part of this spin process is the more weight in the basket, the more unstable the machine becomes and it will shake a lot. And this is not uncommon. I've seen this with larger machines in the laundromat. I usually just place my hand on top to keep it steady. Although I wouldn't recommend walking away from the machine during the wash or spin cycles. Make sure the machine is not unbalanced before you leave it running. I've learned that it can become unbalanced if there is too much water, stuffed with too many clothes, or if the basket is not connected properly.I know some people believe this is too much trouble and a waste of time and it would be better to just wash the clothes by hand. This could be true for some, but for me I don't mind dealing with the extra time it takes. Especially if this can all be done easily from the comfort of my home. Also it is less labor intensive than washing clothes out by hand (I've tried it already and hated it). And in my opinion clothes come out cleaner and are rinsed out better when I use this machine.Overall, I think this is a good machine for the price. When I bought it I didn't really expect for it to replace my normal laundry routine, but it does help to lighten my loads and is great in a pinch.

Washes very well, spinner is lousy
I would actually give this product a 3.5 stars.the pros:holds a decent amount of clothingwashes items wellsmall footprintno need to monkey with plumbing or complex connectionsthe spinner removes about 75-80 % of the excess water from the clothingit is very light and convenient to carry and move aroundaffordableconvenient to use, less trips to the laundry room. I'm able to do laundry in the comfort of my home, even at 10 pm if I want.the cons:the spinner is not great. It is VERY small (takes four to five fill-ups for one load of clothing which makes finishing the laundry alot longer)when you do use the spinner, even when balanced, the machine shimmies like crazythe timer dial isn't that sturdy and is askew after having this machine for two weeksthe machine leaves black marks all over the tub from the support feet on this machine (though easy to clean away, but still).Overall, Basecamp Basecamp by Mr. Heater Single Tub Washing Machine (White/Blue) has a similar machine and I will probably go back to that when this one dies. I will be re-ordering Mini Portable Countertop Spin Dryer , which is sturdy (I had mine about 4.5 years before it died using it maybe three + times per week). It takes out more excess water, leaving clothing about 90% dry and it holds more clothing, so you can do two full loads of laundry (wash, spin and hang to dry) in less than an hour vs, one hour plus dealing with the tiny spinner on this model. As a washer , this definitely does the job, has a small footprint and is easy to store away. It will pay for itself in less than 6 months. I'm not really supposed to have a washing machine in my place, so this little machine is great on that mark.Just know, it is not a fully automatic machine like a standard washer but it DOES get the job done. The spinner is nice to have if you are on a tiny budget (better than nothing) but it is worth it to get a separate spin dryer..If space is not an issue, the Panda Small Compact Portable Washing Machine 7.9lbs Capacity with Spin Dryer (which I also had until space became an issue) is a good option. It holds a good amount of clothing and the spin dry is part of the same unit. (all the mentioned items are available thru amazon)

Not Totally Useless
I picked this up in the hopes of being able to do laundry during periods where I'm housebound and can't really get out. This will work for that purpose. However to wash 5 pair of jeans, 7 pair of underwear, socks, 7 undershirts and 7 shirts. Would take 10 washing loads and about 15 spins. Each pair of jeans must be washed on it's own. a load can handle either 4 pair of socks, 4 pair of underwear with undershirts or, about 2-3 shirts. It will not spin the water with more than that. The Jeans of an adult male have no hope of fitting in the spin basket which is laughably small. Which means they must be hand wrung. The fill hose is more than useless. Don't bother even using it.There is a larger one that has two compartments one for washing and one for spinning. Having not seen I can't say it is better but the spin is easily bigger which if you are an adult person it may be better. It really isn't worth the price. It fit a need for me and is a quality of life item... if you can go to a laundromat or find a larger washer for under 300 then do that.. this is highly over priced for it's function.

It broke in the end :(
It wasn't bad, while it worked. However, compared to the apartment sized washing machine I just got, it seemed to take a lot of time. Something to consider: if you are a bigger person you'll spend more time doing laundry. If you are tiny or are using it for baby clothes, not that bad. I wish the spin component was bigger, found I could put a bit in of softer fabric, like socks, but then I'd have to take some of it out just to properly spin. Would still be a problem no matter the size, but maybe make it and the motor bigger. Ultimately, it broke. It began leaking underneath during use. Still, props to the company, they did a return real quick and refunded my money. I would have considered trying another, but I wanted something more effective. Got something for 2.5x the cost and have been content.

This washer works awesome!! I am writing this review almost a year after I purchased it!There is no odor of plastic inside or outside of it. I dry it & I leave the lid up for 12 hours or so after each use!I can fit a lot in one load. I would recommend that you not just sort by color but also sort by fabric type. I was getting 'fuzzies' on my tops when I washed my clothes with a towel.I store my Panda washer and the Panda Spinner (sold separately) in my coat closet. Very compact! I LOVE IT!!

Great for tiny spaces.
I read lots of info about mini washers and chose this one. I love it! I had to experiment with what amount of detergent to use, but have now decided that for lightly soiled items, 1 teaspoon is good. Using liquid detergent is best, I find. Clothing does tangle, but is easily dealt with, and more sturdy hoses are needed. The spin cycle doesn't get enough water out of the clothing, so I've also bought a separate spin dryer. All in all, a great little machine that's worth the money.

Half Dozen Small Washes and Died!!!!
I bought this product at the beginning of August and now it's not working despite appearing in out of the box condition. I now have a product that cannot be returned or replaced that I don't know what to do with.
