Got this as a gift from wife, and it saved me during the extremely brutal winter we just had. Super warm, and easy to clean but it does run a bit smaller than others we have had in the past, and the length stops just about mid-thigh

This is 100x better than a Snuggie. This is THE Snuggie in my eyes, how it should’ve been made (at least in my opinion, lol). From the color, to the material, to the perfect oversizing. It’s SO soft, and keeps you SO warm. Doesn’t shrink in the wash, and does not get linty in the dryer — which I must say is an A+ in my book because a lot of clothing items with similar material will get all linty out of the dryer, or at least after the first wash, but this one did neither. Would recommend and definitely buy in different colors if available.

I work from home and our house is drafty, so I was thinking about trying one of these “wearable blankets”. There are so many to choose from, I was overwhelmed. Then I saw this red buffalo plaid one and had to have it! Red buffalo plaid is my “signature plaid”—I have matching slipper socks, pajamas, scarf, winter hat, and even a mug in this plaid. It’s been my favorite since back in the 80’s, which is the last time this kind of plaid was popular!Anyway, it is so comfortable and warm, I wear it all the time in the winter. When it’s extra cold, the hood really helps conserve the heat. If I need to run outside to get the mail or whatever, I wear it for that, too. I even wore it today (very windy and cold) to drive 10 min down the road to pick up my daughter after school! (Couldn’t do that in one of those old Snuggies!)So…I bought a pink one for my daughter for her birthday, and another plaid one for my hubby for Christmas! Great for family movie or TV night!

I don't know that I would pay twice the amount for this, but it comes pretty close. The inside of mine is fake sherpa (NEVER ever believe it when any seller says Sherpa. We could do class action lawsuits and win 99% of them and that includes the fake Uggs - watch the recent Senate hearings regarding fakes on this site including those copied by this site and rebranded as their own) and the outside is a fabric that feels like fake velvet - lighter, but very soft. If it's pink, it's also a magnet for gray pet hair; I learned that quickly. I only wear it in rooms where they aren't allowed on the furniture. It is warm when you are up walking around and want an alternative to layering another sweater. Our house is open concept with 15 ft ceilings in every room (never again), and you can never seem to get the heater up enough. However, if I'm sitting on the sofa I still use a throw rather than pulling my legs under me because it is as described: a shirt and not a blanket. Oh, I think anyone should avoid wearing the hood unless you can confirm you are in the house alone. Hard no on that one. I believe it was ordered as One Size. I'm 5'7 and 110lbs so I can still layer quite a bit under it. It comes about half way between my knees and ankles.Laundry: it comes with the oily, chemical scent that all cheap clothes straight from China do. I put it in the washer with the detergent made specifically for my husband's gym clothes; he kept coming to the washer with me saying "no." It took three washing in a detergent made to release dirt and bad odors to make it wearable so heads up. I would also avoid the dryer. Hanging, it took mine about a day to dry and the folded over hood was still a little damp, but I flipped the body part inside out after about 12 hours and the 24 he period seemed fine.

This thing is great. I work from home and my office is on the chilly side. Because I’m sitting I do get cold in the winter. It’s a small space and heats up quickly but then it gets too hot. This hoodie is just the ticket. Good to wear in the evening if you’re watching a film or something as it’s so warm and comfy.

I bought it for my mom and she really loves it. She was saying that in the 70s she was thinking about making something like this -- imagine how wealthy we could have been! LOL
