The holes lined up with the old bridge holes...it was Non-Magnetic ( I tested it with a magnet)...and the installation was a breeze. It made an already nice instrument, better. I like the fact that it does not show the Ball ends of the strings, and the chrome on brass looks fantastic! I did not have to do anything to the bass, but intonate and adjust the saddles, to match the neck radius. Rock solid, high mass, easily installed and adjusted. AND it made an immediate difference to the sound and feel of my Squire Jaguar Bass. I love this guitar but all of the Squires and most of the Fender basses seem to have a stamped steel bridge. It works but is not the quality that the rest of the guitar is. I used the original screws as the ones shipped are smaller. The strings fit perfectly through the block, no problems.
