The dispenser works great and it very easy to use. Cutting the tape is a breeze. My opinion is it is pricey for what you get but it works! I would recommend.

BUY THIS. Seriously. This review isn't paid or sponsored. I'm only writing this because I have tried using a Scotch-branded tape dispenser and HATED IT. It was possibly one of the WORST PRODUCTS I've ever owned. The blade would never cut the tape and the tape would always stick to the device. I wasted SO MUCH tape using that old dispenser. Pulling it with all of my might only for the tape to not tear against the dull blade, which would waste two feet of tape. One day, I got so fed up I threw it against a brick wall and watched it shatter into a dozen pieces. It was beautiful.So as someone who's in the club of people who hate typical dispensers with a passion, I was skeptical about this... But the first thing I noticed was how sleek it looked. No long handle that made using the device way more difficult than it should. I then read the positive reviews of others praising this, and I thought it must have been too good to be true... Alas, I clicked "Add to Cart" and waited patiently for its arrival.It has now arrived, and I can tell you it lives up to the hype! It's so ergonomic and comfortable to use. The tape never gets stuck to the device. The blade is also SO SHARP. It barely takes any force to tear the tape off. Even the way you add/dispense new rolls of tape is brilliant. After inspecting this little gadget and thinking, "Well if only I could hang it", I then noticed it has a small piece of rope attached to do so! I fell in love.This is innovation. This company completely rethought how a tape dispenser should work. I can't even believe I am writing this about a tape dispenser, but it's worth it if it means one less Scotch-branded dispenser being brought into this world.

I am a casual Reverber and Ebayer and ship probably more than most people. I have listed pros and cons regarding this dispenser but be advised this is against the awful red metal thing that Scotch makes. My opinion is that Scotch makes the best tape and the worst tape dispenser.Pros-Very easy to load with tape-The rubber blade guard works remarkably well.-The tape does not annoyingly fold back and stick to the roll.-Very light weight.-Price point makes is likely I will have several scattered about.Cons-I would have paid twice the price to have some build quality upgrades. I don't see this on the loading dock or being tossed about carelessly.-That product name though.. Tape Terror, seriously? Lordy.

This is a wonderfully designed and implemented tape dispenser. Clever roll tensioning system, great blade protection, etc. It doesn't afford a grip for long-term taping sessions for my hand, but that's a subjective issue.I did fail to notice that there's one feature this taper doesn't specifically address: one-handed use. There's no roller preceding the blade to keep the tape in ready position, so you can't easily "press, dispense, cut, repeat" single-handedly (so to speak).For a handheld taper, though, I prefer this any other roller-less taper I've ever used.

I ordered 4 different tape dispensers tp try out and this one came out on top. Instead of having to buy 2 different dispensers for the 2 types of shipping tape I use, this dispenser accommodated both, so I bought another one. I particularly like the ease of loading, the secure hold on to the tape and the way the tape dispenses and the ease of cutting the tape.

I had my tape in one of those red plastic dispensers. It was constantly separating and then the end of the tape would stick to the roll. This dispenser works really nice. It will tear off where you want, no guessing. The blade does a fine job. A lot less bulky than those bigger dispensers.

Tape terror is correct description! This item terrorized in multiple ways. Firstly the blades are sharp (good feature) but the design left safety out, I have four cuts on my hand , serrated blade cuts bleed and hurt. The blade protrudes too far, with no safety shield easy to catch hand and tape. Other terror feature...with not so much pressure the tape will cut before finishing a sweep over the box. I think due to the blade position. I dont really know because I dont professionally use tape dispensors. Thirdly this item broke at some point, i dont know what piece came off or quit working properly, but the spring load feature to putnew roll on, quit working. I wouldnever purchase this product again. It was tossed in trash!!!

Durable solid tape, not super stinky like many adhesives tend to be. If you put it on the box crooked you can lift it and re-stick no problem-as long as- you have NOT yet touched it;) Once it’s secured, it’s solid. I pray I never have to move again but if I do THIS is the tape I would buy again. The dispenser is easy to use, easy to change out for a new roll of tape, the cutter is SHARP but protected, would purchase again if needed a new one but I feel this will last a long time as it is well made. I recommend this tape and dispenser!
