Blue Buffalo Sizzlers Natural Bacon-Style Soft-Moist Dog Treats

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been more disappointed in Blue Buffalo or more impressed with Amazon. I bought the Blue Buffalo Sizzlers(they look like bacon). The first bag I opened, my dogs had almost consumed when I discovered that some of the treats on the bottom were covered in the white, furry mold. I was horrified that my dogs had eaten part of that bag. They had gone on sale for $6.80, I have 5 dogs, so trusting Blue Buffalo, I ordered 12 bags. After discovering that the next 2 bags also had mold, I called Amazon CS and the representative could not have been more helpful. She stayed on the phone while I opened the other 9 bags and found mold on 2-3 treats per bag. They all had expiration dates of June 20, 2018, so maybe it was just a particular lot that was bad but I won't take the chance again. All bags were refunded, without any hassle or hesitation on her part. I am supremely disappointed in Blue Buffalo, my dogs are members of our family and we don't eat moldy food in this family.

Ok, so my 2 dogs are my pride and joy. My labrador loved these but my other dog would not even give them a second look. Ok well, that's how dogs are right? Packaging was ok, product seemed fresh but here's the thing, I had to stop feed them to my lab. His ears developed an infection from the year before and it has gotten better with medication and time. However, the infection returned and I found out that these treats were the culprit. It was a matter of trial and error and it came down to these treats further irritating his ears and increasing the infection so I have had to stop them completely. My experience with these may be different from your's, just sharing.

My dog loves these. I loved that they are made out of better ingredients than the Beggin Strips. However, I went to give my dog one today and it was covered in mold. I looked into the bag and the rest of them also had mold. Luckily (I guess) I grabbed the worst looking one or I wouldn't have noticed and would have fed it to my dog. I didn't know other people were having the same issue. This definitely needs addressed. The return window is closed so I am stuck with just throwing them away. I contacted Blue Buffalo, waiting to see what they say.

We recently discovered how toxic some of the snacks we were giving our dogs are. We're very careful to feed them the best foods, but wouldn't have guessed that some of the brand name snacks are actually quite terrible quality. We switched to Blue Buffalo as a compromise between something our dogs like, is good quality, and doesn't totally gross me out like a lot of the animal organ snacks available in the boutique stores.10/14/19:I originally gave these five stars and our dogs were loving them. I just opened the last bag we got from Amazon and it has a terrible, chemical smell. Our dogs don't even want their "treats" anymore. We don't know what they've done differently, but I will be removing these from my regular subscribe-and-save order and finding something more natural that the dogs will eat.Our dogs love these and we're so happy to be giving them something more healthful.

Initially gave these treats a five star rating. Bought two more from Amazon. Had no problem with first bag. Went to open second bag and there was mold (not good) on these treats. Ended up having to throw entire bag away. Waste of money and not cheap! Was not going to give my dog this after having discovered mold. Then I read reviews on this product and mold was found in many bags. Sorry, my dog may enjoy these treats but not going to give him moldy treats!

White moldy coating on treats! I gave my dog a couple of them before seeing it on others in the bag. She actually had loose icky stools after eating them but okay now. I am very disappointed in this product. I bought them thinking they would be better for her then the Beggin' strips I'd been buying her. NOT!After unsuccessfully trying to find a number or even an email for Amazon customer service without paying $2.99, I am very dissatisfied with Amazon, too! How do I talk to someone to return this defective and potentially dangerous to my pet product? Not good!

The ingredients in this caused loose stools in my 6-1/2 year old Boston Terrier. Purchased because he has eaten this brand of food for his entire life and the dry square biscuits, by Blue Buffalo have always agreed with him, so we assumed this would be another quality product. I honestly do not want want to "clean up" after a dog that is beyond the puppy stage, so out they go. We make many donations to the local animal shelter and I won't even donate these to them.

I bought a bag before if these and my dogs love them. Bought 2 more bags on Amazon only to find some white fuzzy mould AFTER giving my dogs the treats. I opened the 2nd bag and again, found the same mould. I decided to give them one more try and ordered another bag. Nope, mould seen as soon as I opened the bag. All the bags have Jun 20 2018 expiration so I guess it was a bad batch but you would think after I just saw others have the same issue as I, they would have immediately withdrawn all their supplies of this batch! Maybe I'll try again at the end of the year but very dissponted with this quality from Blue Buffalo.

My dogs love them and they smell almost good enough to try one myself...
