Amazing Beginning to What Looks to be a Stunning Series!!!!
This book is literally an amazing start to what looks to be a stunning series!! I wish I could give it way more then 5 stars!! I started this book and could not put it down!Take Me Home is book 1 of The Heartbreak Brother's series and fittingly starts with the oldest brother, Gray Hartson. Gray is a rock star who left his small town at the age of 20 to hit it big with his music. Of course, that wasn't the only reason he wanted out of his small town. He left a decade ago and the story begins with him going back for the first time. Now, when I say small town, I mean really small town! Population of 9,872 - that small!! So, you can imagine what the rumor mill is like there when there's something to talk about!Maddie Clark works in the local diner, teaches piano lessons to the local kids, and takes care of her mother. She gave up on an aspiring musical career after 1 year at college and came home. Lets just say, things didn't go well for her during a first year of college. She hates to be talked about and wants to live a quiet life. She is also the younger sister of Gray's high school girlfriend. When Gray comes back to town and ends up in the diner, he doesn't recognize Maddie. They immediately hit it off and she gives him a phony name. She winds up helping him out of a jam at the church and things begin to fall into place, meaning that Gray finds out who she really is.The chemistry between Gray and Maddie could be felt coming off the pages of this book!! They were so meant to be with each other. But, small town life got in the way at times. I really hated that the town couldn't get past the fact that Gray used to date Maddie's sister, Ashleigh. It was over 10 years ago - get over it!!!! And Ashleigh is currently married and has 2 kids!! That's probably the only thing that bothered me about the story. That and Ashleigh's ego causing her to act like a spoiled brat!!! Luckily, Ashleigh redeemed herself in the end.It was so wonderful and empowering to watch Maddie finally get out of her head and stand up for herself!! She stood up to her sister, the town, and her horrible past!! I wanted to cheer for her and give her a hug, I was that proud of her!! And it was wonderful to see Maddie bring out the normal, real person in Gray. He thought he had everything when he really had nothing. Nothing until he had Maddie. This was such a fantastic book and now I can't wait for Tanner's story!!!

A train wreck…
Sweet lord…. So when I read the description I thought maybe this would be a good book. Boy was I wrong. The whole third person to first person view was tiring. I can’t even remember if the author told us what they looked like. Hell she told us how tall he was at the end of the book. There was no foreshadowing at all. So when things happened it seemed weird and not needed. I have so much more that I want to write but I will stop here.I really hate writing bad reviews but this has to be one of the worst books I have read to date.

Fun, fast read!
Super cute story. For some reason I kept thinking Gray was a country singer rather than a rock star- must have been his hometown. Gray and his three brothers are going to provide some great reading! This fun group of characters with strong family values is easy to fall in love with. This story was entertaining, laugh out loud funny at times, endearing, and a little steamy. I greatly appreciated the respect for Maddie and Gray. It’s nice to have a romance novel that is fun with some innocence and characters who don’t immediately have sex. The romance builds and friendship becomes love and the story advances. A fun read, looking forward to book 2!

Almost there…
Doesn’t everybody love a small town romance, a local boy who makes it in show biz, a younger sister who finally comes into her full flowering—all against the background of the usual gossips, long-suffering minister, and family malfunctions?I really enjoyed the read. I do wish a better proofreader had been engaged for a final check. There were several groan worthy grammatical errors, and an incorrect phrase (it’s hair’s breadth, with a D, not hair’s breath).Nevertheless, the story flowed well, dialogue was natural with believable snark, pacing was comfortable, vocabulary sufficiently broad for a standard romance novel. And of course, the HEA.

Gotta Love Small Towns
Gray comes back to his childhood home because his father is ailing and finds that not much in the town has changed with the exception of people just being older and in Maddie's case, she's no longer a little girl, but a beautiful, smart and funny woman. What I liked about the story was the affectionate bantering between Gray and his siblings; the small town Friday night "chair" gatherings; the characters are likable; they can be vulnerable; have issues to work through and stand by each other when things get tough. There is a lot that goes on in the book. There are things that will make you laugh and things that will tug on your heart. The relationship between Gray and his father is hard, but you get a better understanding of his father towards the end of the book. If you like small town stories, you will enjoy this book. Plus, it has a bonus of a rockstar, as well, which is pretty much always fun. It is well-written and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hello Gray !!!!!
Really enjoyed this Small Town Romance, I love these stories strong alpha men and the women who capture their heart. But it's the journey of friendship, family, friends, humor, jealousy, betrayal, envy, heartbreak and most of all finding and falling in love, so again this is really a very well written love story where true love really do conquer all.

Loved it
I can never manage to go to bed at a reasonable hour when I find a good book and lemme tell ya, this is a good one. I simply had no choice but to read it straight through. To pause even for sleep would have been criminal. Totally worth the multiple pots of coffee I'll need later to be a semi-functional human later.I look forward to reading Tanner's story.

Adorable!
I really loved Gray and Maddie story. It was sweet and emotional and I loved reading about how they reconnected, Both had to deal with past traumas and the way they leaned on each other and fell in love was truly beautiful and heartfelt. Gray'protectiveness and care towards Maddie is really a delight to read! Don't miss it!Also all the banter between the brothers is an added plus.

Funny, Sweet Love story
I usually read much more erotic or edgy stories, but I prefer some humour (laughing is really good for you) and this story got me laughing and crying... I kinda wish they had sung a song together but it was a great story. I would say its more PG than XXX so if you're looking for hot sex scenes, this is a bit more romantic sex scenes, not explicit or to descriptive, more about feelings and reactions. The storyline is very good. It is a love story with some drama.

Slow burn romance, small town setting...I LOVED IT!
*REVIEWING FOR ROCK HARD ROMANCE*'Maddison Clark was an enigma and so different to the teenage girl he remembered'~GrayThe book blurb gives enough away as to the concept of this story,so I won't go into much as to all that happens, what I will say is that it is a well written, slow burn romance, with some fun moments, yet having an emotional element, with great characters introduced, told in DUAL POV's,and I really enjoyed reading from start to finish, and I can't wait to read the next in the series...I LOVED IT!

Gray & Maddie’s Story
When you’re a massive Rockstar who comes home after 10 years of living the Rockstar lifestyle and meet the girl of your dreams back in your hometown it comes as quite a shock when she turns out to be your ex girlfriend’s (whose heart you broke) little sister. The heart wants what it wants and there is no stopping Gray from pursuing Maddie. Maddie is hiding a big secret, which only her sister knows about. Can they find their HEA or will the past get in the way?

Maddie
I thought this series was good starting with the oldest brother coming back after 10 years, thought it was slow in parts and did not like the 8 months later ( he could have always had a house being built when he was there for his family to stay in or him when he visits) looking forward to rangers story and hopefully more siblings banter

One to read, enjoy, and read again
Actually the headline says it all. The plot line works well, the characters are believable - even if they are larger than life, but that’s why we read romantic fiction. And yes, I have read this book, several times.
