I bought this for when I look after my relatives dog. Most of her toys are in a repair bag or discarded after a short time of playing with them. Connie loves the alligator and it looks as good as new after quite a lot of wear and tear! I highly recommend this toy.

When we adopted our new dog, Bucky, - a 1 year old Springer Spaniel x Irish Setter, he came with one of these from his previous owner. He loved it. Our existing dog, Logan, - a 6 year old Collie x Corgi, kept stealing it from him, so we had to buy one for him too.I am absolutely amazed at how it's cleaned Logan's teeth! He had quite a bit of plaque and tarter build up on his molars that the vet had told us would need removing under anaesthetic soon if we didn't get it under control. We were brushing his teeth every day (no easy task!) without much improvement - but now we don't need to! This toy has pretty much removed all the plaque and tarter.Also, Bucky is a very aggressive chewer - he destroys toys in seconds! This toy, while battered and he has chewed a few bits off here and there, is still going strong after 4 months (I don't know how long he'd had it before he came to us).I definitely recommend this toy - for teeth cleaning and aggressive chewers!

I purchased this product for my six year old lab.The primary purpose of this product is for dogs to retrieve food/treats in the crocodile's teeth (made of rubber or something similar) and squeaks when the head of the crocodile is forcefully squeezed.I've been putting small training treats or peanut butter in the toy which my lab has thoroughly enjoyed chewing out of it since I bought it, and she's never gotten bored of using it.The toy seemed somewhat weighty when I opened it, not to the point of it being dangerous but ensured that it was extremely sturdy and cannot be broken with ease by a dog with a stronger bite. That said, after about 30-40 uses of the toy, my dog has managed to gradually chew off the rubber teeth of the crocodile, making it harder to fill with small treats (I can still fit plenty of peanut butter in there though).In comparison to toys with similar uses, I would say that it is significantly more sturdy, however the quick erosion of the crocodile teeth reduces the durability of it.I bought this for £10-15 so it depends on whether you believe 40+ uses for £15 is a fair price, personally I would argue it is because it's survived longer than many other toys I've purchased, though I have also found toys that have lived longer than this one.

Bought this for my standard dachshund but he couldn’t be any less interested in it. Not sure if it’s the shape or texture, but it just doesn’t get used.

My beagle spends at least an hour a day chewing on it. It's well designed so dogs use all their teeth trying to get what is in it. Don't expect the product to last a life time because the bite of medium dog is very powerful but I had mine for 2 weeks and it is looking very good, almost like new, no teeth missing on the crocodile's mouth yet. I would say it will last at least 6 months. Price is very good for what it does. Vets are charging between £500 to £1000 to clean dog's teeth.

I ordered this item on Tuesday and it was delivered yesterday. Very well packaged. Its exactly as advertised and a good size. My dog has done nothing but play and chew it absolutely loves it and loves making it squeak seems to be very durable and there is no teeth marks where he has been chewing it. I would highly recommend especially if your dog likes to chew things.

Great product. He is hard on his toys and this seems to be indestructible. He generally plays with it most evenings happily squeeking away. Great buy.

I brought this for the cavapoo and cockapoo I walk. It is slightly too big for their mouths but they had great fun chasing it. They were super motivated by the squeak and would run to me and then chase the croc when I threw it. As it was to big for their mouths they did not damage it. This toy just stopped squeaking after less than a week. I would not bother buying. This is a very expensive toy for only a weeks worth of fun. I have requested a refund as it is not the quality I expect.
