Make sure the silver base completely and evenly covers the entire surface and cures over night Spray the Kustom cans tint light at first then as many coats as you need to reach the desired depth of color. Allow to dry about 30 minutes between coats. Finish with 3 coats of Spray Max 2k clear coat, wet sand and buff and it comes out gorgeous. Pay attention to environmental conditions such as excessive humidity, high heat, and damn bugs. I have approximately 1/2 a can left after spraying 2-3 coats on the parts shown in the pics. Review: I dig it - Good stuff. I sprayed it over a rustoleum silver metallic base. Laid on nice, no runs. 3 to 4 coats covers it pretty nice. 1 can will do a motorcycle tank and maybe a couple side panels or headlight bucket. Anything more then that and you will need more then 1 can. The key to any candy is to paint it over a silver metallic base coat or it will not be vibrant. Also spray it on thin, you do not want to run candy paint. This is basically a yellow / gold tint that is being applied over the base coat. Very nice gold color.
