Excellent Sound for an Excellent Price - 5 *****
I bought this for my 2004 Honda Civic 4 Door EX Sedan. I already have a K and N SRI installed so my next mod was the exhaust. I absolutely love this exhaust. It has a very respectable tone to it and isn't as ricy as some might say but its still ricy above 4k rpm. The catback definitely adds some noise but it isn't incredibly loud, though I would not recommend you go flying by the police or highway patrol. Don't get me wrong though it is loud and it turns heads, mostly upset residents of the town who think you're speeding. Install was a breeze, everything fit just right, no cutting or messing with the rear bumper cover to make the muffler fit. I would highly recommend to anyone. I mean really, loud exhaust is better than stock exhaust. The shipping was extremely fast. The packaging was excellent, everything was wrapped in plastic, the axle back portion was wrapped and taped with some beefy bubble wrap. They don't mess around with shipping. If you're installing on your own do yourself a favor a don't even try to break your existing exhaust bolts free, douse them in some kind of lubricant like liquid wrench, it will save you a lot of trouble. Also the bolts and gaskets provided are a little cheap looking, I would recommend going to your local hardware store and getting some sturdier automotive bolts as these actually just look like normal bolt. Other than that you cannot beat the price for what you're getting. I will upload some pictures of the catback installled when I get the chance, and I will also have a youtube vid up of a sound comparison, so I will update the review.

Not bad for the price
The media could not be loaded. System isn’t to bad honestly, it sounds decent and not quite high pitched. You don’t have to worry much about sounding disgusting at higher rpm’s.[ 2003 civic Ex Installation] replaces oem exhaust perfectly just know if your car is lowered and you take that speed bump wrong it will scratchWhat I use to do this myself-angle grinder, in case I had to cut-basic ratchet and wrenches ( would recommend power tools if you have it )- torch and a punch, had to punch out bolts in my cat

2001 Honda civic ex coupe cat back
The media could not be loaded. Fits pretty much perfect It bounces on the car a little bit because of how big the tubing is but other than that it is really nice has silencer which is nice too

Appears to be good quality and direct fit almost to the cat
Not exact replacement. Missing about 2 feet. Still have to go to the muffler shop. Last piece toward cat is a 3 bolt but factory cat or magna flow pt # 50884 is a 2 bolt. With different gasket. Appears to be good quality and direct fit almost to the cat. So close to 5 star review.

D17A2 Vtec engines only. No D17A1's non vtec
Giving it a 3star due to lack of proper detailing, and reviews. I love Spec-D everything ive ever purchased by them, ive enjoyed. So i was super excited to get this on. As im removing the old and exhaust and looking at the new. It appears to be the D17A2 motor, which has vtec, so the cat is below the car. That explained why i had a 3 bolt triangle on one of the flanges on the specd exhaust and not mine, which has a D17A1 motor. So main thing you need to know before buying this, do you have vtec? If so this will work. If not? It will not without additional fabrication or modification.

Good bang for your buck.. Loud even with silencer though
It did everything I needed it to. I felt compelled to write a review because so many people had trouble getting theirs to fit correctly? Mine fit perfectly, no problems whatsoever. This honestly was way too loud for my taste, even with the silencer on. If your trying to not look like a wanker with a fart-can exhaust then I'd skip this, or possibly consider buying a higher quality exhaust silencer (which I am considering doing). Also, a side note, if you have trouble with getting the bolts off, go to Walmart and buy an angle grinder with a diamond tip head attachment, and literally just cut right through the bolts with it. It can be quite a bit of pain, but it's much better than paying all that money for an exhaust shop to do it, and you'll feel really accomplished after doing such a job all by yourself. That's my 2-cents. If you're looking for a replacement exhaust, which is what I did, this is pretty decent. Just remember it's loud even with the silencer (disgustingly loud without it)... Some of you guys are into that, but not this guy.

So far so good
I have a 2001 civic ex sedan, it fit just right.Only problem you might run into is that the midpipe is quite big and could be hitting the bottom of your car (an exhaust wrap seems to have fixed the problem) and maybe cut around the bumper (if you don't have the nicer looking one) to avoid annoying melting/rattling.It has a nice deep tone even if silenced.

Fit was perfect for my 04 Civic Coupe
Fit was perfect for my 04 Civic Coupe, didn't require any modification, bolted right on to cat. Finish was good as well, welds looked a little sloppy but for the price I can't complain. The thing is pretty loud however, a little louder than I anticipated even with the silencer, but it's manageable. I may end up replacing the axel back, we'll see. However it's much better than the rotting and leaking stock exhaust I was running for the last year.Tip: Tighten the silencer up pretty snug, it comes pretty loose from the factory and raddles around quite a bit when you get on the throttle, or just remove the thing because it doesn't seem to help much in the silencing department.

not plug and play!
Was missing about 3ft of pipe from the 3 bolt flange to manifold and cannot find the part

Confused
I got it and it was nice went to attach it to the car and I was told it would fit but the header only has 2 bolt pattern and the actual pattern that hooks up to the header is 3. So it technically doesn’t fit

Vehicle fitment lies!
The pipe that attaches to the cat was different. My car 2004 Honda Civic D17 which this said it would fit had a 2 bolt flange this kit had a 3 bolt flange. Kind of disappointed with that but muffler only install sounds pretty decent.
