HJC Unisex-Adult Flip-Up Helmet (Stone Grey, Large)

Good helmet, but matte black scratches easily
I have 4000 miles on this helmet now and it's very comfortable for a guy with glasses. Installing a Cardo Packtalk Slim was a breeze and integrated well. Stays cool in the summer months and the vision is excellent. Only issue is that the flat black finish scratches very easily leaving white spots all over the helmet shell. Looks like crap but is completely functional.

Not For Round Oval Heads
The size of the helmet was fine but the shape did not fit my round oval head. It's a shame I had to return it because it was such a nice lid.

ticks most of my boxes
part 1: I got the helmet from anther dealer so I could get the gray one. I had tried one on at a local dealer, as well, but they didn't have the right color. I'm glad I tried one on, though, because I needed a large. My first helmet was a CL-17, which has been pretty good to me, but I have had it for 3 seasons. It is a medium. The Large F70 fits just a little tighter than the other one.But I like how it cradles my noggin; it feels snug without feeling tight or binding up. No hot spots. And it ticks almost all my boxes: full face with a drop down visor, not too expensive, and decent ventilation (though I haven't actually tested it, yet.). I also wanted something that looks halfway decent. That's where this gets a little iffy; the large in the F70 is -- big. It is noticeably larger than the medium CL-17. And it might feel a smidge heavier, if not quite unwieldy. The real test will be when I take it out on the road.Part 2: I went for a ride on my Sportster XL1200L. It is not a quiet bike, so I do not have high expectations, or even an understanding, or what a "quiet" helmet should be. Wind noise seems acceptable. I had the motorcycle's wind shield installed for this ride and the helmet does the things I need it to do. I wear glasses, and helmet accepts them with no issues; the drop down visor works well and is dark enough for me. The little bit of helmet buffeting is not the helmet's fault, but it did not feel uncomfortable, except a tiny bit of pressure on the forehead after about an hour; that will go away as the helmet breaks in, however. I still think the helmet is kind of huge, so it gets docked a star for aesthetics. But so far, it is functionally what I was looking for in a helmet. I will see how it does in really warm weather.Part 3: I have concluded that if you have a loud bike, this may not be the helmet for you. Compared to other helmets I have, it somehow seems to amplify the lower register of the pipes of my Sportster to unhealthy levels. After about a half hour, my hearing is affected. Ear plugs are a must, so using a bluetooth device is not possible. I wore the helmet on a Honda Shadow RS, and the pipes are not as loud; the helmet worked fine for that, but for my Sportster, I have to wear ear plugs. The helmet is still useful, but I won't retire my CL-17 just yet.

Felices compras!
