This is a very nice tool. I already had a mid sized Tandy equivalent but this one is very very fine, and very very sharp. It takes the thinnest of shavings off the edge of the leather and leaves a barely visible bevel. It makes edges feel very nice and 'softened' without much visible impact to the piece. Came sharp right 'out of the box' - highly recommended for the price.

Razor sharp right off the rip. I needed a beveler for single layers of 2-3oz and the .6mm is perfect. I can even get up close to corners that have more layers stacked and sewn. I didn’t expect to get this nice of a tool for that price but I’m buying more. Only complaint is that it’s marked #5 instead of #0

So small it is difficult to sharpen

I use these edge bevelers almost every day on the custom leather goods that I make. They are high quality tools for a really affordable price.I don't have the chart here in front of me right now but each beveled is good for use on gradually thicker leathers. I own and use a #1, 2 and 3. I don't do much with the thicker leathers that would require a #4 or 5.I have owned the cheap beginner bevelers that come in those over priced starter kits as well as the more expensive Weaver and Tandy edge bevelers. I'm really happy I finally found these.

I really like the leather edge tools that I purchased. They look great , great value for the money, feel great however they are not very sharp. The #1 and # 2 tools are the ones I like the best for all around use.

The beveler came needing very little if any honing on my part. Though I did it anyways it worked great without my touching it. It holds an edge very nicely and is nicer quality then some more expensive ones ive bought from your traditional leather stores. So I'm pleased and will be buying more of them. B careful the sizes are opposite what you might be used to. So what is normally a 5 from say Tandy is a 1 or a 0 here. Don't know why. But thought it was worth mentioning. Happy purchases

My old edge beveler was too big. I had issues with edges being too round for my liking. This is small but perfect size. Im just a hobbyists but i am a perfectionist. This beveler didnt stick or dig out too much leather and is definitely worth the money. My local leather supply store (tandy) is really pricey but this beveler surpassed the quality of theirs. This beveler paired with tokonole is the recipe for great edges!

Excellent appearance and cut very easy on several veg tanned and oil tanned samples. I am very pleased with this purchase.
