Much better than the original Pi camera
I bought a Camera V2 from raspberry pi. It worked but the color balance was terrible. My green bushes were light blue no matter how much if fiddled with the controls in VLC. Then it stopped working. So I replaced it with this (Aokin for Raspberry Pi Camera Module, 5MP 1080p with OV5647) and it works great. My bushes are green. It seems to have better focus too. Tho only strange thing to look out for is that the camera is not actually connected to the board. You have to peel a sticker to attach it. An included instruction sheet covers this. My camera detached completely off the board by accident - but it snapped back on and still works. This is used on a Pi Zero W with the included new pink case from pi. This camera fits into the snap holes correctly in the lid of the case. It's a good, cheap camera.

Works well for my meager needs, OctoPi + Zero 2 W
No complaints from me. Using with a Vilros case and included mount, seems like it's compatible spacing-wise with official camera. Like so many others this is for an OctoPi 3D print monitoring with a Zero 2 W. 5MP is way overkill for the cause. But it's less than a Hamilton, so... big value!Didn't use the included cables because the case came with one that worked fine and was the correct short length for the mount.

Worked great till it fell apart
Clear camera quality, inexpensive product. Bought the Pi camera to set up with a Raspberry Pi 3B+, an Ender 3 V2, and Octoprint. Bought it a month before I was able to set everything up, and when I attempted to slide the camera into a housing, the lens fell off. It did come with a double sided piece of tape, but the tape backing had not been peeled off. So I peeled the tape, reinstalled the lens- now it doesn't work. For the price, I can't be TOO upset, but to get 5 stars from me, the product has to actually work.

Great camera for the price!
Not the highest quality lenses, but it gets the job done at a super affordable price. It comes with an extra ribbon that is longer as well which is really nice.

Best pi cam for the price.
MUST READ: You are able to change the focus on the camera manually. If you are facing the lens, turn it to the left to focus on closer objects. Turn to the right to focus on farther objects. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to twist the lens and get it in focus . (1st picture is before i figured out how to focus, second is after focusing.)All that aside it works perfectly fine on a raspberry pi 3 b+.Dont sleep on this good deal.

Good octopi camera
I mean, I'm not posting any time lapse videos, but I can see if my print went south, without getting off the couch, so that's good enough for me... I like that they got all the cable variants for interoperability.

Nice, but disappointed that it doesn't fit official Pi Zero W camera kit from Canakit.
I noticed that some reviewers here noted that this official Pi camera might not fit the official Pi Zero W camera case (mine is from Canakit) and I hoped that it was an isolated issue. Maybe not. In my case, I could not get the fit to be as snug as I had hoped.1st try - leaving the camera element untaped to the circuit board. Pro: the tiny connector on the circuit board fits well; con: The geometry doesn't work out for the case to close properly.2nd try - tapes the camera element in the exact place where the circuitboard has a square outline, then attempt to push the tiny connector in. Pro: Geometry of case lines up better; con: the tiny connection is tentative as the ribbon cable is a fraction of a millimeter too long for this short run.The real issue here seems to be the board geometry. Picture below is where I had to settle with this built. Two of the holes/pins seem to mount fine, but the other two always pop out. I did not try to modify the case, but perhaps that might be needed to get a perfect fit. I didn't find any tricks online on how to avoid this issue either.

Works with RaspberryPi Zero W and MotionEyeOS
Verified working with RaspberryPi Zero W and MotionEyeOS. Able to capture decent photos and videos. Suitable for well-lit environments. I would buy this item again on my next project.
