Slave: Live in Concert Featuriung Drac

The first part of this concert was outstanding, with all the memorable songs and excellent sound quality. However, the second part had bad sound quality which made it much less desirable to listen to.

A big SLAVE fan since the 70's I was disappointed by this concert. First of all, 'Drac' Hicks is the only remaining 'original' member remaining but he still could have pulled it off because he 's so talented. But, SLAVE's sound also had some nasty bass to make you groove and whoever is handling it is not up to par with Mark Adams and (or)very under-mixed... Vintage concerts from the golden era of those bands DO exist (got a Don Kirshner's show by SLAVE and what a difference). Why not putting them out? Or at least try to match the sound that made them famous in the first place.

Maria Muldaur, vous connaissez? Non et bien vous ratez quelque chose. Malheureusement aucun commentaire sur ce DVD. Elle reprend ce que j'espérais tant, son disque Heart of Mine, Love songs of Bob Dylan avec de superbes reprises (Wedding song, Buckets of Rain, I make you feel my love, Cajun Moon...)Elle est accompagnée d'un groupe de musiciens cajun au son minimaliste mais avec un grand feeling; on est pas loin de l'esprit TJ White ou JJCale. Pour des reprises de Dylan on reconnait les morceaux facilement, mais Maria leur donne sa couleur qui lui est propre, elles les fait siennes. Son chant est à la hauteur des compositions et l'émotion passe.5 étoiles quand même pas, mais 4 assurément!!!! Sheik Yerbones.

Ce dvd ne propose pas un concert intégral mais 2 extraits de 2 concerts différents (30 mn + 20 mn), le deuxième avec des morceaux tronqués; cependant les prestations sont bonnes mais on reste sur notre faim.qualité son et image: très bonne vhs

Le immagini sono di scarsa qualità anche se recenticonsiderando il dvd del 2008 . Peccato ma non è da acquistare
