Woof ‘Em! Great campfire fun!
I bought these for a Glamping Tipi trip to Sandy River Outdoor Adventure Resort in Rice, VA. These Wolf ‘‘em or Woof ‘em sticks were fantastic! We cooked our hotdogs over the fire first - which turned out great. Then, we switched to the wooden knob attachment. Although it says to use biscuit dough - we opted for the crescent roll dough and it worked perfectly. The crank handle was insanely perfect for getting an even baked crust. The cooked dough pocket slid easily off the wooden knob and was easily filled with Hershey’s chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Yum! I would recommend you get the two pack with the carry bag - that was a nice feature for packing and carrying to the camp site.

Awesome product!
We just learned about dough boy sticks at a recent camping trip with some friends. Our friends had made some from straight wooden sticks with wooden mallet like heads. If you’re new to what a dough boy is - they’re a nice alternative to the traditional S’mores if you’re looking for something different. You basically take biscuit dough and wrap it around the head of the mallet and push up the dough so it extends well up the side. You then cook it over a fire so it gets golden brown and solid. The idea is to create a cup-like bowl out of the dough. We then filled the bread bowls with pie filling, fruit, chocolate, whipped cream, etc. – You get the picture. Anyway we loved them. Try them out if you’re new to the idea.We really enjoyed the experience and so I bought these Wolfem sticks online. I actually like these better because they break down for easier storage and you can rotate the head to get uniform heat exposure. We’ve used these once over our fireplace just for fun – so far, no issues and they work great!

Fun product!
These are a fun twist on regular sticks! We loved doing a fire at breakfast and filling the biscuit with egg. The rotating feature is nice but watch that the end piece doesn’t unscrew! One of ours frequently unscrews as you rotate and it ends up that half of the stick falls in the fire if you aren’t watching!

Meh. It sounds fun, kind of a pain.
I'm not to proud to admit that maybe I'm the problem here. However, we never could really get the biscuits to cook that good. To get it thin enough, they don't stay on that well. Thick enough they are still doughy. Also, they take a lot of patience and tending. Not great for younger kids, say, anyone under age 41. I just started getting bugged with having to constantly turn it and monitor the distance from the flames. Also, I wish the handle piece was longer. Made me have to be a little closer the fire than I wanted. The kids were stoked when these arrive, but they were over them soon after. Has it's uses, but know what you are getting into before you get them.
