Excellent! My lanterns stay much cleaner!
These absolutely work. I bought one pack to test them out, then returned within a few weeks to order more. I live on a property that has a lot of trees = lots of wonderful beneficial bugs. These lights keep them out in the yard and away from my doorways, and the spiders have stopped making my lantern lights look like year-round Halloween decorations. Has helped to keep those 8 legged friends from wandering into the house as well. Happy pollinators, happy homeowner. Great value, well made, and the color of the light is close enough to warm white (yes, it leans a bit more yellow) that it blends well with my Edison bulbs, string lights and landscape lighting - and I'm picky about that, so I was very pleased. These are my new outdoor bulbs for life, I hope they never stop making them.

Keep bugs away
These Norb Bug lights are great. It gives off a warm, amber glow which is perfect for sitting on the porch at night. We used to sit on our backyard deck but a few years ago our next door neighbor moved in and planted all kinds of plants and putted in a fish pond. They water the plants and the sitting water has created the perfect environment for all kinds of bugs and mosquitos. It got so bad to the point we couldn't sit outside anymore. We heard about these lights and decided to give it a shot. So far it seems to be working. Definitely a lot less bugs. Maybe it's the amber color of the bulbs but whatever it is, I'm happy we get to enjoy sitting outside again. Plus it's LED so we can leave it on all night without worrying about electricity cost.

Lights work great, but customer service issues with Amazon
Bought these as a replacement for old, garish yellow-green LEDs of unknown brand on the porch. They seem to work well as bug lights. The yellow / amber color is bright, visible and pleasing, and functions well for general, low-level lighting on a screened-in porch. I also use these as a safelight for alternative photography work (cyanotype, etc.) and they are absolutely outstanding. NOTE: These are *not* suitable for general darkroom safelighting, as their brightness and small green content will absolutely fog paper or any modern silver halide-based photographic material. One of four lamps arrived defective. This is not unusual, as defects happen. However, Amazon declined to provide a replacement or credit. Their customer service has seriously declined over the past several years, and it's beyond frustrating. The manufacturer replaced the defective lamp with zero issue, so good on them!

They worked well but all 4 bulbs were short-lived.
The bulbs did not attract the insects we had overwhelming our entrance in the past. They are bright enough with a warm light. That was wonderful. But…They are advertised as lasting up to 12 years at 4 hours per night. I have gone thru all 4 bulbs in the box, turning them on at dark and off before dawn, in a little over 5 years. That’s about 1.3 years per bulb at fewer than 8 hours per night. That’s so disappointing I’ll try out standard bug bulbs again. The fixture is protected and has an open bottom but is difficult to reach without using a step stool on a stair so I don’t want to have to replace bulbs so often. The warranty is two years but you have to send the bulbs back and that’s a waste of time and money. If you don’t mind short-lived bulbs give these a try. We loved them while they lasted but the consistent short life makes them a no for us.

Bought these thinking it would help with some of the bugs on our patio (knowing there is no "true" bug repellent light, but this light drew more to it!! Walked out to the patio after parking and we were overwhelmed with bugs in our face! I installed them a day before this review, so it didn't take very long before they "called" their buddies over....ugh!! All the little specks on the wall are bugs that hit you from the left, right and eveywhere in between when you get remotely close, let alone having to walk through the swarm of them. Very dissatisfied!!
