I bought this phone to replace my Cubot X18 which has given me excellent service. The X30 is slightly bigger but still easy to handle. Setting the phone up took about an hour and there is NO bloatware. Only apps you choose to install from Google play will be present.The camera takes much better pictures than the X18, there is a bit of shutter lag but with all that storage space you can retake as often as you like. I will take it for a walk tomorrow taking photos and comparing with photos taken with my Sony 6000 mirror camera.

The GPS on this phone is a bit well crap is the word running similar apps on this phone and my old one (Vodafone V710) there are significant differences basically the Cubot over estimates by about a half a mile over 5 miles compared to my old one and checked against Google maps. Fingerprint reader is intermittent but input the same print 3 times and it works ok. Finally whoever thought at Android to link text alert and ringtone volumes needs there head looking with a cricket bat 😉 Volume Butler works around that problem but the phone is good and battery life seems to be as good as advertised. Now 2 years old and a few problems no longer seems to hold a WiFi signal that well have to keep reconnecting not that good with 4g either. Very recently the loud speaker is intermittent so not too good. Only paid £130 so maybe time for a new phone.

Likes: quick response, battery life, speed, picture quality, screen quality, size, camera very good quality.Dislikes: sometimes screen too sensitive, finger recognition sensor awkward position, In general great phone.

Very disappointed with the phone virtually straight away, it came with scratches to the screen, the battery life was dreadful, within 22 hours it required a further full charge without much use of the phone, the tap screen response was terrible, face recognition worked 50% of the time only, fingerprint recognition even less!!The only good feature on the phone was the camera, I had arranged to returned the phone within 24 hours of receiving it.Would not recommend at all.

a great phone for the price. Just what I wanted

My wife and I both have the same phone. Very few notifications from Apps work reliably, including Email accounts, Amazon apps, Google, etc. Only WhatsApp seems reliable. Cubot have been unable to support the issue.

I opened the box , my first impression on seeing the phone was wow, it looks like a phone costing £100s with the look of it I've now been using it for a full day , and I am well impressed with it, brilliant phone,UPDATE, Bluetooth won't hold connection, battery life not so good, 😞

Great pictures, battery lasts a long time, have not used finger print reader or paying system replacement for previous Cubot phone I had that died.
