I only ever used rain ex on my cars windows and it does a good job, but only if you follow the instructions exactly and the coating does last about a month, so buying the SOFT 99 GLACO glass cleaner was a bit of a leap of faith. I'd seen the demo videos on Amazon and decided to give it a try. Well it really does do exactly what the adverts say, you just scrub the spongy part over the screen then spray a bit of water over the screen , shammy it dry and gave it a buff with a microfibre cloth and wow the windows were super shiny and water just sheets off, so I honestly haven't had to reapply this now for over three months so i will be switching to this and buying again , its a great product

It works had an etched mark on rear window from bird dropping which tried everything to remove nothing worked but this stuff did it in a few seconds can't believe it had that mark on glass for two years used on the rest of windows they look brand new

Definitely does what it says and definitely recommend. But there’s definitely other options out there that do a better job and easier to apply

So far so good. Bought this due to windscreen judder, and it has cured it. I still get a little squeak when the wipers go near the resting position, but maybe I just need another coat when I can fully clean my car after this hosepipe ban is lifted...

The BEST product! finally the oil film got removed!

I received this product on the 1/7/24 and immediately used it on the windscreen of my car. I applied it exactly as per the instructions and washed it off with a high pressure hose as directed. From the outside all appeared clean but when I went into the car to clean the inside of the screen I could clearly see the marks from the Glaco product which were like smearing all over the screen. I had to use the Autoglym glass polish to get it all off and then buff it to finally clean the screen. This has been an expensive mistake in buying this product and the only saving grace is that I didn’t purchase the glass coating that you’re supposed to use after cleaning the screen. If I’d put this on as well then god knows how I’d have got them both off. Quite simply don’t by this glass cleaner as you’ll be sorry.

This SOFT99 Glaco Glass Compound Roll On is fantastic. The integrated applicator makes it super easy to apply, and it removes oily stains, old coatings, and water spots effortlessly. Ich hatte bei meinem Neuwagen von Anfang an Probleme mit der Windschutzscheibe. Die Scheibenwischer haben stark geruckelt und beim Wischen entstand immer ein milchiger, weißer Schleier. Zuerst dachte ich an Rückstände oder eine fehlerhafte Versiegelung und habe verschiedenste Wachsentferner und Glasreiniger ausprobiert. Das hat zwar etwas geholfen, aber nie wirklich das Problem gelöst. Danach habe ich zusätzlich noch Rain-X aufgetragen, in der Hoffnung, dass eine gleichmäßigere Versiegelung die springenden Wischer beseitigt. Leider wurde dadurch alles eher noch schlimmer. Da ich das Auto zuvor auch gewachst hatte, kann ich nicht ausschließen, dass zusätzlich Wachsreste auf die Scheibe gelangt sind. Zwischendurch habe ich sogar neue Scheibenwischer gekauft, obwohl die alten gerade mal etwa sechs Monate alt waren. Das hat allerdings ebenfalls nichts gebracht, weil die Ursache offensichtlich auf der Scheibe selbst lag. Kurz gesagt: Auf meiner Frontscheibe war vermutlich eine Mischung aus verschiedenen Rückständen und Versiegelungen, die sich gegenseitig negativ beeinflusst haben. Egal was ich probiert habe, ich bekam die Scheibe einfach nicht richtig sauber. Als letzten Versuch habe ich dann Soft99 Glaco Glass Compound verwendet und damit endlich die Lösung gefunden. Zusätzlich habe ich die Wischerblätter ausgebaut und gründlich in warmem Wasser mit einem Lappen gereinigt. Seitdem funktioniert alles wieder perfekt: kein Springen der Wischer mehr, keine weißen Schleier und endlich wieder eine saubere, klare Scheibe. Von Versiegelungen habe ich jetzt erstmal genug. Die Frontscheibe bleibt bei mir künftig unbehandelt und ich bin damit deutlich zufriedener. Die anderen Scheiben am Fahrzeug sind weiterhin versiegelt, dort gibt es aber auch keine Probleme, weil keine Scheibenwischer darüber laufen.
