Solgar, Bilberry Ginkgo Eyebright, 60 Count

This product helped us keep our eyes in good shape. No glasses, no glaucoma, reduced floaters and clear, bright eyes. Now we have found out that Nestle' has purchased several supplement brands along with Solgar, and is in the process of RUINING the name we have relied on for years. Our parents relied on Solgar before we were born. When we called Solgar to ask about this product, the CSR acted as if it had never been produced! Our reply? "We are holding the bottle in front of us, so you must have made it!" The name we have relied on for years is no longer reliable. Use Solgar AYOR. :(

This works. Genetically, I am predisposed to macular degeneration and have been a heavy computer user since the 80s when I was a kid. My eyesight was getting bad at night, especially with bright blue lights like neon you see on some signs. I also was getting really wonky vision during the transition sunset to night, especially in city areas. I also noticed a problem focusing when looking at the tv and then looking back down at my laptop or phone. I also had eye strain issues all the time. I am now taking this off and on, but mostly on, for two years.Here are the results: Neon blue lights at night when driving are no longer a big issue. Yes still a bit annoying but way better than before. Transition between day and night is no longer a problem and I see well now. Focus when looking between the tv and close screens is much better but not nonexistent. Eye strain is way better.Short of it is this: I am am going to buy this for life. Thank you solgar for helping me get my vision back It may not turn back time completely but it helped a lot.

This product really works. I'm a little far-sided, just enough that I was told I should wear the weakest prescription glasses. I've read, however, that glasses worsen your vision over time by allowing your eyes to not work as hard. Besides, I'd rather not have to wear glasses. I started hunting for a prescription.A better diet coupled with the Solgar Ginko Eyebright + Lutein Complex ( Just as an FYI... There's another version I accidentally bought once that was cheaper but minus the lutein that didn't work nearly as well) has improved my vision so well that I no longer need to wear glasses. I don't get headaches from reading or staring at a computer all day when I take these capsules.I'm fairly impatient when I try a new supplement. If I don't see results within the first few weeks, I abandon it. I saw results within the first few days. I have better results when I take it consistently, two a day as the bottle recommends, but I often go weeks without taking it because my vision is so improved. Then, I just take it when I feel my eyes start to strain and it clears up within a few days of taking it. I love, love, love this product.I know it helped another reviewer with allergies/sinus problems. It didn't affect my hay-fever one way or another but this product is well worth it just for vision support. If it improves other areas, I think that's a lucky bonus but don't expect it. For my hay-ferver I use Jarrow Formulas Quercetin 500mg, 200 Capsules which I'm going to go review next!

As a contacts wearer I've notice a significant improvement in the hydration level of my eyes. Before taking this I would have to reach for moisturizing eye drops every hour, but now I can get by without them for a few hours.Overall I also feel like my eyes are less fatigued. I'm also using a combination of other things for my strained eyes: blue light blocking glasses when using my laptop, and hot/cold compresses as needed.I only take 1 capsule a day (instead of the recommended 2).One con is the smell from the bottle and the taste. I think one of the capsules must have broken during transport...either way it's not pleasant. I try to mask the smell and taste by taking this with food.

I'm a believer! I work in an office with fluorescent lighting and stare at a computer screen all day. My eyes were shot! Bloodshot! I started experiencing blurry vision and red eyes to the point where it was very uncomfortable to work. I would even wake up in the morning with bloodshot eyes and was a frequent abuser of Visine.At 31 years old, I do not wear glasses or contacts and wanted to try a natural treatment before seeking help from an eye doctor. I have been blown away and, frankly, completely surprised by the results I've experiences with this product. After only 2 weeks, my red eyes are no more! I still experience a bit of blurry vision from time to time, but I think that's normal adjusting from close/distant viewing.I will certainly be using this product everyday from here on out!

i am blind in one eye from a collapsed retina that too bad to save and my family has a horrible history of blindness from one thing or another i researched everything to keep my eyesight and these ingredients kept popping up the only thing this lacks is the efa oil believe me it helps alot i also cut down on sugar and sugary drinks i am hopeful now i have a handle on this problem i know you have all heard take care of your eyes well yes please being visually impaired restricts you in ways you cant imagine
