Muffled into Submission
Everyone I speak to says that I sound muffled. And I always end up screaming for them to hear me until out of frustration, I remove car play and talk through the phone speaker. The item isn’t blocked by anything and I removed the foam from the mic itself. Doesn’t help.

Decent, but picks up a ton of wind and car noise
not sure if its the mic or my head unit (kenwood) but for some reason this thing picks up every little sound from the car. if I have the windows down, forget being heard. If I have the volume loud to hear the other person, they'll hear themselves through my speakers when talking. its pretty annoying.That being said it was cheap and does the job.

Everybody Can Hear Me Now!!
I got this for a carplay that had a terrible microphone. Luckily the carplay and an external mic port. Snapped it in and BINGO!! Everyone can now hear loud and clear. Also the cable is long enough to go from the center of the dash and up to the top of the door pillar in my old 2001 Tahoe. Oh and it has a small spring loaded clip to secure the mic. We'll worth the cash.

Not great
The microphone does work but it sounds like your in a canyon. Maybe it's my stereo but I've tried several different locations to fix the issue but nothing helped. I will try another brand.

Not worth buying
Fit was perfect, didn't like the microphone, you can still hear all the background noise, vibration. Just about everything.
