MorrisonsCondensed Milk 397g

A very nice full cream condensed milk.It represents excellent value for money.This is a 397g tin. Which is about 2/3rd's the size of a regular can of soup.Ingredients wise, it's just milk and added sugar.It's made from Dutch milk.Nutritionally, it's a nightmare. 60% sugar (a lot of that will be from the milk itself), and 13% fat.But, you don't really eat it for its goodness do you?Condensed milk is, exactly what it says. Milk that has been reduced by boiling off the liquid, until you are left with a thick creamy base.It's what you would use to make a banoffee pie, or many other gorgeous, creamy desserts. It is amazing, versatile stuff.My favourite use is in a Guinness punch.Take a bottle of Guinness Original, and 2 x bottles of Guinness foreign Extra.Add to this 1 tin of this condensed milk and a tin of Vanilla Nurishment. If you can't find Nurishment, any kind of vanilla, milkshake will suffice.Mix well with a blender, then pour over ice.It's an amazing milky punch. Perfect for a hot summers day. Although I warn you, it is quite 'punchy' in the alcohol department, and it certainly fills you up.It's a meal in a glass.I hope you found this review helpful.
