Mini Clay World Pet Adoption Truck

This is a great gift. Step by step instruction of how to make your clay animals. Well worth the money. Definitely 7 years and above.

I bought my son (age 9) this for Christmas. It got put to one side until today and both my son and I had hours of fun doing this together. The instructions are easy to follow and we got better at making the animals as we went along. We had some additional polymer clay to make extra animals but there is enough to make the animals per the instructions. A really, simple and imaginative activity.

I'll admit I was a little unsure about purchasing this kit to start off with but my nine year old daughter loves crafts and animals so I went for it and I have to say I'm really pleased with it.You get 7 blocks of polymer clay, 1 of each of white, black, pink, green, brown, orange and a creamy yellow colour. I looked at the size of these (couple of inches square maximum) and was convinced there wouldn't be enough to make all the animals. However if you follow the size guide in the instruction booklet you should have just enough to make one of each animal. I would've liked spare to make extra but I can easily buy some extra coloured polymer clay to use.The instruction book is really nice and includes full and easy step by step instructions on how to make each animal (I'll add some photos of the finished result once my daughter has made them all)It also includes instructions on how to assemble the bus plus extras such as a dog house etc. All the pieces for these items are all ready to simply pop out and put together and are all labelled so that you know what each piece is. The card is pretty sturdy too as far as card can be.The book is quality enough to keep too so that my daughter always has a reference to make more of these little animals from extra clay in the future.All in all it's a great little set. Yes it would've been nice to have had a bit more clay to make extras, or just slightly bigger animals for younger kids who might find it easier to mould larger pieces, but what you get is fine and does the job. My daughter loves the set as it is and it would make a lovely gift for a craft or animal loving child.

The truck was tricky to put together but lots of fun making the clay animals. Would highly recommend.

My two daughters (11 and 9) had great fun with this set. Instruction book was lovely and clear and they were able to do it all independently aside from the baking. They made lots of cute cats & dogs, my only suggestion for improvement would be slightly more clay so they could make all animals in the book as they ran out of some colours. Overall, I would recommend this as it kept them entertained for a couple of hours on a rainy afternoon!

I brought this as a Birthday present for my 7 year old daughter and we are both so impressed .The little clay models are just adorable that you can make,there is a step by step guide book which is very easy to understand with pictures and my daughter loved the fact she could make them herself. I also love the fact that they even thought about adding cardboard accessories for the little clay animals to sit and play on and the really cute pet truck.My daughter chose which animals she wanted to make but if you follow their guide of how much clay to use per pet/item then you will have enogh for all 15 bakes,we managed to infact get 16 as my daughter wanted to also make the hair dryer.Highly recommended.

My daughter really enjoyed doing this. She needed help with building the vehicle as it's a bit tricky. I didn't have the patience for it either but luckily Grandad did. However she loved making the animals. It kept her busy for 2 x half days.
