I bought these for my wife with some hesitation after seeing the high return item warning. We have been traveling around Europe for the last couple of weeks and my wife has been happily using them in her morning exercise routine. She did say they were kind of a pain to fill up, so after landing we have been carrying them around filled (we are driving). I think they are mostly returned because of the misleading 5 - 12 lbs description. Each barbell is rated at about 6 pounds, maximum. So the 12 lbs is for both barbells, combined, which makes no sense. My wife works out at home with 5 pound barbells so these are perfect for her needs.

These are really cool for travel. My only concern is that the screw collar moves very easily, and I accidentally knocked it off once, so make sure you have everything screwed on all the way and avoid letting it brush against your clothing (I think that's how I knocked it off)The color is like the photos, but the pictures and the actual fullness/roundness of the item aren't the same. Maybe with use it will round out more. It says 5-6# per weight, but my scale (which I have never found to be inaccurate in the past), shows 6.9# (6.93 on the second weight), and that was with some water loss while trying to close them.They fill up and assemble quickly and easily, and they worked fine for me after I screwed everything down a little better. The web image shows the collar at the very end, but I found it worked better if I screwed it a little further in from the edge.

They were a pain to fill up and not only that they didnt weight anywhere near the weight they were suppose to. The leaked alllll over the place. I got them to travel with and it did not work out at all. Do not get them

When fully inflated, the donut ring measures about 3 ½ inches thick.The grip of the bar is grooved with a swell in the middle to make it easier to hold. The bar is about 13 ½ inches long and made of sturdy plastic. The fillable rings are fairly durable, but there’s a weak spot at the inner ring—if the nut is overtightened, it can press into the material and cause a leak, so gentle tightening is best.The rings give off a slight plastic smell, but it’s not strong, and each ring can be fully inflated in less than a minute.What’s especially nice about these dumbbells is that you fill them with water. You can adjust the weight just by changing the amount of water added. The intake valve is easy to fill and empty, and once drained, the set becomes lightweight and travel-friendly. Overall, these water-filled dumbbells combine functionality and convenience, making it easy to take your workout on the go.

Great weights for regular use in the house or when travelling. I wanted to get some lightweight, well-made weights for my wife.I'm happy with their sturdiness, and they feel good in the hands. They do the job and look like they'll last.

These dumbbells are great as a portable option for travel. They are easy to assemble and fill with water, though I was not able to fill them to the max so that they look like as perfectly filled like the picture. They were a very good weight at mix capacity that gave me a good workout. I'm afraid of them leaking, but its has't happened yet and it's only water, but that's the tradeoff you get for portable dumbbells.Overall I really like the convenience of these and can recommend them if you need the portability of travel dumbbells.
