My personal opinion is that because of the ingredients, I feel it does kill COVID but without the EPA’s approval the factory cannot put it in writing. As per the manufacturer on 17 April 2020, they can’t make the claim that it kills COVID-19 because it is still in the process of being approved by EPA. Disinfectants have been able to get fast tracked and approved a lot easier than sanitizers. They have been told there is a 2-3 month waiting time to get the product testing completed. What is important is that the product is a QUATERNARY AMMONIUM sanitizer. When you use it up to 800ppm it is then considered a sanitizer and a disinfectant. EPA would not allow the manufacturer to make both claims while they went through the approval process many many years ago. So they registered it as a sanitizer. EPA and the CDC are requiring people to use Quaternary Ammonium products for COVID-19. Steramine is being used around the country to kill COVID - but we just cannot make a claim in writing at this time.

Can it be Used with nano sprayer?

The ultra low volume foggers/sprayers are NOT effective sanitizers with most products. Most disinfectants require a contact period. The surface must stay fully damp with the disinfectant for a certain amount of time to kill a certain pathogen. This is dependent on the cleaner and pathogen but for some infectious pathogens or diseases it can require 5-10mins of exposure. The ULV foggers I tested for aerosolizing mold killer did not even output enough to make the surface noticeably damp. This makes them useless for nearly all sanitizing purposes. Directly inhaling sanitizer solutions is most certainly not recommended and the use of foggers and fine mist sprayers has caused people respiratory damage while possibly not even accomplishing what they intended. If you want to a product to inhale you should buy one specifically for that purpose with dilution instructions for it. If you want something to spray you should buy a product with instructions for dilution rate, saturation level, and contact times specific to what you are trying to eliminate and follow them instead of using nano mister type devices for random disinfectant solutions in the air or on various surfaces.

Anyone have success using these instead of bleach tabs in the kaboom scrub free or flush master flush & sparkle "auto" toilet bowl cleaner systems?

This is not a bleach replacement. It is quaternary which kills different & many of the same as bleach. You need to make a "base" amount to use for cleaning. Best youtube video is "Rosered Homestead" (type in steramine)she teaches at the Univ.of Utah ag dept. & goes over exactly how to use,why. She also goes over the use of calcium hypochloride or "pool shock" dry form 66 or 75% to make a base solution for cleaning. Laundry bleach looses its potentcy quickly. I bought pound bag of pool shock at a local discount store for $5.99/lb. You only need 1/8 teaspoon to 16oz of water for effective cleaning solution. The steramine does have instructions with it , I use both but be very carefrul to follow directions for both these cleaning products & you can make smaller amounts.
