I'm going to take away one star for a documentation miss, but I will definitely recommend this.I have a 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock edition with the steel rear bumper.In this case, you do not use the provided 3/4" hardware.You'll remove the four bolts(18mm heads) at the back of the chassis that thread into the steel bumper. A one foot metal spacer shim will fall out from between the chassis and bumper. The hitch will slide right up into place and you'll replace the original bolts. Easy.The kit is complete.The instructions have really small print and the images could be improved.Overall, a simple install. Took me 45 min to route the wires(15min) and install the hitch(30min).Would highly recommend.

A very high quality hitch that came with everything necessary to install. Installation start to finish took me under 30 minutes.I didn’t remove the bumper cover, having previously glued the lock washer to the washer before pushing the bolts in from the back. Once the washers were on the bolts, I taped the nut to a 19mm open end wrench and slipped it up to the bolt. A bit tricky, but doable. Use a short 19mm socket on the muffler side of the frame rail.The taillight is taken off by removing the four Phillips head screws. Note that the lens doesn’t come off the taillight bucket, the entire assembly comes off. Unplug the wiring, connect the plug in the included wire harness, run the other end down and out at the bottom and reinstall the taillight. Carefully route the harness to the trailer hitch, avoiding the muffler. The included cable ties didn’t fit the existing holes in the frame, so I used my own. That’s it!

Installed this on my 2016 jeep compass. Was easy to install and works great.

Don’t need to remove the bumper excellent plug-in play

Great towing receiver for my wrangler. Bolted right up into factory bumper on my 2007.

The fitment is a bit larger than the frame it attaches to, but once everything is on and snug, its good to go. I ended up using a washer to fill some of the difference.Wiring harness could do with a few more zip ties.Keep in mind, this isn't gonna be a 8k lb hitch, but for towing a 2-3k lb trailer, its served me fine.

Easy install and great quality

Installed this on my '15 Wrangler JK—fit perfectly and took about 20 minutes. Solid build and the included wiring harness made hookup a breeze. Towed my small trailer with no issues. Great value for the price!
