My mom loves this candy! She is like a kid at Christmas whenever I send it to her. She is 85 years old on 7/28 this year. I was so happy I could send her peppermint patties early this year!

Obviously, I love York Peppermint Patties or I wouldn't have ordered a gigantic box of them. I not only enjoy the taste, but I love that they're so low in fat. I've been able to break my ridiculous chocolate addiction by eating ONLY this candy, and limiting myself to one serving (3 patties) in a single day, instead of eating half a bag of peanut butter cups, snack size candy bars, or kisses, in a single day. Yes. My addiction was bad!I was sick a couple of months ago, causing me to lose about ten pounds. Knowing that I was determined to keep the weight off, and lose more, my daughter suggested I try York Patties after I got well. So glad she did. I've not only kept the weight off, but have lost a little more as a bonus.I'm certainly not suggesting these as a diet plan, but if you have trouble saying "no" to your favorite chocolate candy, you might give these a try. They're rich and tasty enough that I don't want to eat more than one or two. OK, sometimes I get crazy and eat three.These arrived in great condition, and the few that I've eaten so far have been fresh and delicious. The "buy before" date is Jan. 2014, so even if it takes me over a year to get through this stash, I expect they'll still be yummy.The price I paid with this seller was the best I found anywhere, so that was a nice perk!Warning: This is a huge box full of candy! It's approx. 12" tall x 5.5" x 5.5" and weighs 5lb 4oz. So if you're not sure that you like these, I suggest you grab a smaller bag at the grocery store and taste them before you buy this size. This could well be a lifetime supply for some people. Not for me, but for some. ;-)

Can’t go wrong with this box of Yorks. My son-in-law equates this box with he’s going into his closet and it’s a convenient store. We all laugh. It’s a good sturdy box and definitely a good value for the money. York always has good quality in candy.

I really like to have one or two when I like to refresh my taste and breath. More of a treat than a simple mint.

came quicker than said, there was a Small ice pack in box with mints but it was completely warm when I opened the box, some of mints were partially melted so far that I am seeing. It only sat my porch about 30 min since I wasn't home when delivered. Wasn't expecting it to be delivered that day
